Warning: last one was super short, so I guess I made up with this one...? Also, explicit content warning for the beginning if you want to skip hehe. Also, yeah I know. The title. I KNOW.

"Surrender my heart. I wanna be open, I wanna be honest with you."

Sunday morning.
Kellin Quinn was awoken by the calling of seagulls and the crashing of waves. It was curious, out there, the world still moved. The night turned to day. Nothing stopped. Nothing ever did. But somehow, Kellin felt like he could freeze time and space in the little cocoon Vic and he had formed in the bed. He felt like nothing mattered outside of it, and in a way, nothing really did.
They were completely intertwined with each other, and not just in the figurative way. Tangled limbs all over the sheets, chests as physically close as they could get, heartbeats in sync. Kellin didn't want to move an inch. He'd never felt so safe or calm. He knew it was a common beach effect too, but the feelings dancing in his heart were more to blame.
He was still a little drowsy, so Kellin kept his eyes closed. They burned slightly from the events of last night, but it wasn't a big deal. His backside also felt the aftermath, but he knew to expect that. He was good. Better than ever. Especially with how he could feel Vic breathing against him, with the way he held him. Kellin liked that they were just like magnets during the night, unable to stay away for too long.
It got Kellin thinking about how he'd ever fought this for so long. From the start. He created so many obstacles for them, for himself. But Vic never once gave up. Kellin could never understand why, but now it was clear. And he smiled, thinking about it. Despite everything, he felt right where he belonged.
Kellin was just about to fall asleep again when he felt Vic stirring beside him. His smile grew. His heart noticed as well. It was childish, but he'd missed him while he slept. And Vic stretched his body as he woke up with a sigh, holding Kellin tighter to his chest, making him smile more. Sleepy Vic was one of his favorites, and since he was sleepy too, they were both more cuddly and touchier than usual. It was a nice feeling.
Kellin's hand ran from his back to his shoulder, lifting his head so he could finally see his face. Vic was already looking back, smiling at him just like he always did. His eyes looked a little tired, but that spark was back. Was it all okay now? Kellin wanted to believe that.
"Good morning, darling," he said before kissing his forehead, and Kellin felt his face flush. His words dragged due to the sleepiness still, and Kellin liked the way he sounded.
"Hi," he mumbled, hiding his face once again in his warm chest.
Vic hugged him more, kissed the top of his head again and again.
"Want to keep sleeping?"
Kellin shook his head, "It's probably really late already."
"Want me to check?"
"No," Kellin held him even more, not wanting to separate from him for even a second. He truly wanted to stay like this forever. For a bit, it seemed possible.
"I don't think it's too late," Vic chuckled.
It was nice to see his good mood return. Kellin wished he could erase last night from their memories, but he knew he couldn't. And, either way, he wouldn't get rid of everything. It had been a great night up until the end. They had fun. They... Kellin felt himself blushing against the fabric of Vic's shirt, his stomach filled with millions of butterflies remembering everything they did, everything he did.
