Thursday morning was pretty uneventful. Kellin Quinn sat at his work desk as he usually did, typing, scrolling, typing some more. He was finishing his reports from the week before, something he'd been procrastinating enough already, but no one could blame him. They were boring to do, and that's exactly how he felt right now. Bored.
It wasn't until his phone started buzzing and dinging over and over again that his concentration bubble burst. And the grin on his face was immediate. No one in his contacts would bulk message him like this other than his favorite... So Kellin quickly picked it up, unlocking the device with his face, and confirming his suspicions.

Kellin blushed deeply while reading the texts, hiding his huge smile even though no one was paying attention to him. He chuckled to himself then, softly and bashfully. Vic was just so... He bit his lip as he considered his reply, his heart burning reading the words over and over just because he could. He shook his head and started typing before he got carried away.

Kellin's eyes almost bulged out of his head. He gasped too loudly and dramatically, but he didn't care if any of his coworkers noticed. He quickly stood up from his seat and hurried out of his office area. He needed to call him and scream or something. Oh my god... This was huge. Finally. He was so happy for Vic that he could start jumping around like his daughter when she was at her happiest.
He went down to the private bathrooms on the floor below and locked himself in there, dialing Vic's number on FaceTime, unable to wipe the smile off his face. Vic picked up before the first ring could even end.
"Please tell me everything!!" Kellin practically squealed before Vic could talk, sounding childish, but not caring one bit.
Kellin could've melted with the way Vic's face was just a huge grin from ear to ear, eyes twinkling with the sunlight of the great outdoors. He must've been on some morning errand run. He looked so pretty doing the most common things, Kellin couldn't understand it. Vic laughed on the screen and shrugged his shoulders as he kept walking, his wired headphones dangling from side to side.
