Claire's POV

Its been 1 year and that while year had me broken. My mother got shot and killed before she could make it to the hospital and i found out why my dad never came to see me and that my best friend,Eva, is starting to get bullied in school but i cant do anything because she switched school but is still in this state.

Today is March 6, which means... SAMMY!! My first ever boy best friend. But ever since he left i made a new boy best friend,Shawn mendes. We hang out most of the time, like at the park,movies,pool,concerts, everyplace you could think of.

It was almost 3 pm so i should probably get ready. I got into my crop top which says ' pizza ' and my high waisted shorts, vans and a messy bun.
I left my house in time and reached the playground and sat down by the tree where Sammy told me to be when i was younger.

Sammy's POV

I was getting ready to meet Claire again. I decided to wear my dark blue sweater and black jeans, converse and styled my hair and left my house without saying bye to my dumb aunt.

I reached the playground and looked around and saw the swing set and my childhood memories came flooding back, once i was finished i realised i was already at the swing area so i went up the the tree where i told Claire to be and saw her.

She had beautiful brown wavy hair and electric blue eyes, she was sitting on the ground while her back was resting on the tree as she was reading a book. She looked so peaceful.

"Hey, are you Claire?" i asked her

"Yeah, im Claire. Your suppose to be Sammy?" she questioned

"Yup! I missed you so much Claire! We should hang out and know each other more." i yelled as i gave her a hug while her head rested on my chest and my chin was on her head.

"Sure! I missed you so much too! I still have the picture of us when we were little. We should hang out more! Wanna go to the movies now?" she asked

"Yeah. You have tickets?"

"Bitch, please! I have two! For papertowns!" she screamed as she showed me two of the tickets. I laughed.

"Then what are we waiting for? Lets go!" i demanded as she jumped on my back and led her to my car.

"Lets go!!" she gleefully screamed as she pointed the direction to my car and screamed like a kid while she was on my back.

We jumped into my car and i drove off as she gave me directions where to go.once we reached the place, i picked her up and onto my back as we went into line to buy popcorn when i suddenly heard someone yelling for Claire.

"Claire!" i boy ran towards her i was in the line while she was waiting at the entrance when he suddenly called.

They had a conversation which i was eager to know about but realised i needed to order our snacks first. I finished ordering our snacks i hurriedly walked towards Claire calling her name, she didnt seem to hear me.

"Claire!" i yelled.

She finally turned around " Oh! I didnt know you were done!" she tells me

"Its ok. But would you mind telling me who that boy is?" i commanded

"Oh,sure! This is Shawn mendes. He kept me company after i felt alittle blue when you left me when we were younger. He was just asking me if i could be his girlfriend, i said yes." she explains

"Yeah, she is a one of a kind girl. I am very lucky to have her as my girlfriend now!" Shawn exclaimed

"Wow,congrats then." i said alittle down now that i knew i couldnt have Claire but im happy she found a boyfriend.

"Oh hey the movie is about to start! So Sammy and i should get going" Claire squeezed into my conversation with Shawn.

"Oh, ok see you later than baby." Shawn said as he cupped his hands on Claires face and gave her a kiss on the forehead and then waved at me then left. We both left as well.

After the previews and the movie, Claire and I went back to the playground to play on the swings and remember our childhood.

"So...... Hows life?" i asked her.

"Sucks"

"Why?"

"My mom got shot and killed, my dad left us when i was younger abd my best friend is getting bullied and she considers suicide but i am trying to help her but she pushes ne away and sooner or later i will lose my unbiological sister." she cried

"Oh,no. Thats horrible, just remember that im always here for ya!" i comforted her as i gave her a friendly hug. I love you Claire.

I drove her home and told her everything was gonna be alright and watched her get into her house and then leaving right after.

Sorry about my horrible chapters so far. Im trying to make it better. My exams are comming very soon so i have to start reviewing and try to pass this shit. But ill try to update before my exams and once my exams are done, im gonna write lots of chapters.
