Whats wrong

Sammy's POV

"Your pink. Are you ok? Or are you blushing?" she smiles at the last part

"Im fine" i answer the first question causing her smile to drop

"Oh ok." she sighs then walks to the kitchen and grabs a cup of orange juice

"Whats wrong?" i ask walking towards her

"Nothing." she chugs her juice down

"Something is wrong" i sigh

"Nothing is wrong ok? Im fine!" she growls

"I-" i start but she cut me off

"Sorry. Im just- urgh. Forget it. Im just gonna sleep" she groans

"Im sleeping with you. Not that way." i chuckle

She nods and heads to her room with me tagging along

She plops down on her bed moves to one side to give me space

I lay down on my spot, next to her and face her but she was facing the wall. I pull her close to me and held her until we wake up.

After a few minutes, i was still awake but my eyes were closed.

Claire turns and faces me

"I love you." she whispers and kisses my nose before cuddling into my chest

We had just woken up from our nap and we are now in the backyard watching the clouds

Should i ask her about last night?

Nah...Maybe... Should i?

Oh what the heck. YOLO right?

"So um Claire...." i face her and she copies my action

"Yes?" she smiles

"Last night...."

"You heard it, didn't you?" she asks

"Yea" i nod

"Oh my lord..... Uhm- Im just gonna go to the b-bathroom" she turns red and quickly walks into the house

"Dont do anything that you will regret..... Please." i whisper to no one exactly

"I love you too" i sigh and play with the grass

Claire's POV

I sit on the floor of the bathroom with my back leaning on the bathtub as thoughts came rushing through my mind

What if he thinks im a freak now?
What if he doesn't love me back?
Why did i even do that? I even kissed his nose!

"Man up and walk over there and face it." i chant to myself

I get up and walk back to Sammy but once our eyes met i froze. Literally.

"Claire. Come sit here" he instructs with a gentle voice

"Um.. O-Okay." i stuttered and slowly walked towards him

I sat in front of him and stared at the green grass. Ooo so fresh.

"I kinda have to tell you something" his voice is shaky

Oh god, he doesn't like me back, does he?

But what came out of his mouth took me by surprise

"I love you too." he paused "I didn't know i did but now i do. I didn't realise that you meant the whole world to me and that i would kill myself if anything happened to you"

I smiled "Finally"

"What?" he questioned

"After Shawn and i broke up, you have been protective over me and you do so much for me when i don't deserve it" i explain

"That's what love is..." he stops himself "But i'll give you some time and space because its only been a short time since you and Shawn broke up"

"How thoughtful of you" i grin

"Thanks" he gives me his signature smile and puts my tiny hands into his large ones and placed kisses on each of them

My cheeks heated up, i felt fireworks explode, butterflies were in my stomach, i got speechless and i was smiling like a dork

This boy drives me insane.
