"Listen, i have to go home. Tell me what happens. Bye bro" Daniel pats my back before leaving

I sigh "I guess im on my own with this now."

I went in front of Claire's door and slowly opened the door since it wasn't locked

She was sitting cross-legged on the floor scrolling through twitter and the more she scrolled the more her eyes got watery

"Claire,what's wrong?" i spoke, startling her

"Nothing." she quickly wiped away her tears and shut her phone off

"Tell me" i demanded as i walked closer

"No." she stood up

"Why not?" i crossed my arms

"Since when did you even care about me" she mumbled, thinking i couldn't hear but i heard it loud and clear

My face softened

"You think i dont care about you?" my voice became quieter

She didn't say anything

"You do." i answer my own question

She sighed and shrug

"I quit, Sam wilkinson."

Wow. Did she say my full name? Yep, she did.

"Quit what?"

"Just..... Everything" her eyes got watery

I walked closer to her

"This is ridiculous... You should go." she says

"Tell me what you were doing on your twitter first" i look straight into her eyes

"I already said, It's nothing. Now go."

I snatched her phone and turned it on.

I looked at her twitter and it was full of hate

I stopped reading and checked on Claire

She looked like a kid who was about to be scolded

"There, now you know. Now leave."

"Im not going anywhere." i turned her phone off

"And why not?" she raised an eyebrow

"The last time i left you alone when you were like this, you tried to kill yourself and i cant bear losing someone that means the world to me." My voice cracked

"I'm fine."

"Heard that before."

"Fine, stay. I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight" she gave in

"No, your sleeping on the bed." i ordered

"Where are you gonna sleep then?" she asked

"On the floor." i smile

"Fine." she groaned

"Lets go to bed since its late" i say

"Nine is late?" she whined

I gave her a straight face

"Okay, okay. Just dont hurt me." she walked over to her and laid down leaving me standing just taking in what she just said

After a few minutes, i heard her soft adorable snores

I grabbed a blanket and a pillow and set it on the floor but i stopped once i heard Claire mumbling something

"I still love you,Sammy. Never stopped" she paused

I smiled and laid down on my so called "bed"

I was drifting off to sleep but heard Claire say something again but this time she was whimpering

"No.... Why..... Dont leave me..." she cried

I sat up and shaked her awake

Her eyes shot open and she looked around frightened

"What's wrong?" i ask

"Just, sleep next me tonight. Please?" her voice was shaky

I nod and tucked her to sleep and laid next her

Her arms was wrapped around my neck while mine was wrapped around her waist

Once we were comfortable, we were out like light
