Chapter 15. New house and ex's

Soomi's POV
(A note! this is going to be a heck of a long chapter so get ready my friends ^^)
*BEEP
OH GOD
"You two! At this rate I can be expecting grand kids next week!" Wonwoo's mother said
"No! Ommoni! We haven't done anything of the sort..." I drifted off seeing Wonwoo's famous bad boy smirk on his face.
"Honey, why don't we just tell her now, before she is born." he said aloud
"what?! Jeon Won Woo! I did not raise you to be like this!" His mother yelled hitting his head.
"Ouch! Relax I was just joking." he answered rubbing his head.
I felt so embarrassed...
In front of the only adult to like me, I was sitting on the lap of some idiot playboy, blushing so badly.
"You!"
"Me, Ommoni?" I asked her
"Yes! Get off his lap!" she answered back.
"Yes ommoni!" I sounded like a soldier.
Wonwoo kept eyeing me and his mother was glaring at him.
"No PDA in the car!" She said and turned in her seat.
I felt my face flush with embarrassment while Wonwoo smiled a strange smile and looked out the window.
We started off towards my new home, without pain, angst, or the devil.
I was happy.
But not as happy as I was with Myungsoo....
the 3 months with him were the greatest of my life...
If only I could go back to that moment.
But as sad as it is, I needed to let go of Myungsoo and my love for him.
the tightness of my chest made it hard to conceal my sadness.
So I looked out the window watching the trees fly by.
In the reflection I saw Wonwoo looking at me.
Let's play his game.
I turned around and faced him, batting my eyelashes.
He gulped and I advanced.
Leaning forward until I could feel his breath on my nose.
I tilted my head slightly....
Then I went back to my former stance.
Looking out the window like nothing happened.
In the window I saw his mouth gaping wide and staring at my back.
Hah I win!
"Kids? Kids! We're here! Oh the movers!" Wonwoo's mother said and rushed out to meet the movers.
I looked out the window on Wonwoo's side and saw a beautiful house! It looked quite small so I was wondering if we'd get our own rooms...
Oh god.
Please let me have my own room.
sharing a bedroom with a perv is NOT part of the list of things I'd like to do.
I didn't say anything and exited the car going to the trunk to get my stuff.
Opening the trunk my stuff tumbled out of their box.
"Oh god." I bent down and started to pick things up.
A book landed on the road, so I reached out to get it.
I couldn't exactly reach it from where I was sitting so I gathered the rest of the stuff and stepped onto the road making sure there weren't any cars.
I'm not that dumb.
As I got closer I saw that the book was the one Myungsoo gave to me.
The one I carried all the time.
A small pocket book and in it were his favorite cookie recipes.
I needed that book
I saw a car heading my way, its tire about to crush the book.
If I hurried I could just grab it and run.
I started to run and was almost there when the car screeched. Signaling it was coming closer.
I didn't stop I was so stupid...
Wonwoo's arm flailed and grabbed mine leading me away, before I could reach the book.
I stumbled and we both fell on the grass.
I was too shocked I forgot about the book.
''Don't you ever do that again!" Wonwoo yelled his eyes scanning my face.
He looked enraged.
Does he really care?
"Wonwoo?" I asked looking into his flustered eyes.
"Do you like me?" I asked as his eyes softened.
"Yes Soomi I do... I like you so much. I just never saw it before." he answered shifting and lying down facing the sky.
"Then why did you kiss Carlise?" I asked looking up in the sky.
Blue and beautiful.
The clouds making beautiful shapes and patterns in the sky.
"I don't know." he answered.
We both lay there thinking, reflecting, and enjoying the peace.
"We should go." I said standing up And grabbing my box.
I started towards the house when I looked back to see Wonwoo sleeping, eyes closed on the grass.
He looked peaceful.
He likes me....
It hits me now...
Do I like him?
No... I don't... The butterflies aren't there.
They'd sometimes be there... but not as a colony like they were with Myungsoo...
Stop thinking about him!
It will only hurt you...
I debated whether or not I should wake him up...
"Wonwoo...... let's go." I said softly shaking him.
"Mmm..." he whined shaking his head.
"Come on lets gooo." I grabbed his Arm and tried dragging him.
"Nooo you have to kiss me first." he said pointing to his cheek eyes still closed.
"Get up." I said harshly, flinging his arm forward and grabbing my boxes.
I started walking towards the house and put the boxes down.
"Soomi honey! Go put your stuff in your room its the first on the right from the bathroom.
This house was a one story house and it was small and cozy.
Perfect!
I found the room that ommoni told me to go to, and put the boxes down.
I looked at the door and my jaw dropped.
{Newly wed couple! Do not disturb}
Was engraved onto a wood plaque and nailed to the door.
I opened the door and to my dismay....
One bed...
So to sum it up
One room...
One bathroom...
One house...
One pervy husband.
Greatttt.
I sighed and started rearranging stuff.
"hey Soomi did you see the plaque?" Wonwoo entered my room he had a smile on his face and was leaning against the door frame.
"I saw it." I replied shortly.
"Well then.... were going to throw a housewarming party later so invite your friends!"
"I... okay." I wanted to tell him that I didn't have any friends... but I'd have to tell him my mom was abusing me and I can't...
He'd pity me and I wouldn't want that.

Wonwoo's POV

She looked somewhat hurt or upset.
My smile faded and I suddenly felt bad.
She didn't have any friends did she?
Why wouldn't she say that out loud?
Oh...
She doesnt know that I know...
"Hey... let's go to buy food."
"Oh.. okay." she replied and led the way down stairs.
"Hey wait up!" I yelled chuckling
We went to the near by super market.
While we were walking our hands met and she pulled back.
The blush on her face gave me an idea.
I grabbed her hand in mine and swung them infront of her face.
"this is how we're walking from now on."
she didn't reply and nodded.
she's cute.
"cute." I mumbled and continued to walk.
We went and bought a bunch of foods.
Chips, snacks, candy, pop, beer (for me and the older hyungs), you name it.
We went to cash out.
Soomi was leaning on the back of the cart.
her face was bright and a cute smile was shown with dimples on her face. (Picture in the media box are the outfits that Soomi and Wonwoo wore)
Why did I tell her I liked her...
Does she like me?
I dont know....
"Soomi." a voice whispered.
I looked up and there he was, this time as a cashier...
"Myungsoo..." Soomi's smile disappeared.
This guy doesn't make her happy.
He hurts her.
"I'll do this, go outside and wait for me." I muttered to her, she looked at me and slightly shook her head.
"Soomi! wait outside!" I yelled.
Her face changed her eyes wide, scared.
"...Please." she nodded slowly and walked outside.
"Listen... stay away from her" i muttered.
He nodded slightly and calculated the amount I needed to pay.
I grabbed the bags without a word and walked outside to see, Soomi with her arms crossed and huddled in her sweater.
It was a little chilly so I decided to keep her warm.
I brought the bags over to her and gave her a nice back hug with my arms around her waist.
"Oh-!" She shivered
"Hi" I said in her ear.
"Hello." she answered back.
She twisted around and grabbed a few bags from my hands.
"Hey I can do it." I tugged the bags back to me.
she gave me a look and took the bags back.
Then she grabbed my free hand and intertwined our fingers together without looking at me.
"Look who's eager." I teased, her face red.
She nugded me.
I chuckled at her cuteness.
We walked back home hand in hand.
But...
"Oh god."
There was Brie standing on our porch, her hands huddled.
"Who is she?" Soomi asked
Brie turned around and stared at soomi and I holding hands.
I let go of her hand.
"Soomi go inside." I told her, giving her the bag I was holding. she listened and excused herself as she unlocked the door and went inside, with a confused face.
"Brie..." I started
"We need to talk" she finished.
We walked to a park.
"I'm getting married... I'm sorry" I told her my head down.
she wouldnt care very much right?
I knew she was a player too.
But that didnt seem to matter to her.
"I love you Wonwoo" she said she looked at me with sad eyes and grabbed my hand.
"Don't you love me too?" She asked
Did I?
All of those times we've shared together..
Did I feel anything?
"Im sorry Brie.... I just don't love you" I answered taking my hands away from her.
She didnt answer.
She turned and ran away.
"I'm really sorry"
Joshua hyung is going to kill me.
Its funny how close we got the few weeks after he moved in.
After that I walked around the park and went to a nearby cafe and spent sometime reflecting and thinking about what happened.
"Oh shit" I checked the time 12.
The house warming party!
I ran back home.
The lights were all off and I saw 16 pairs of shoes beside Soomi's.
Oh....
I guess they're sleeping over.
I used my phone's flashlight and got to the dining table.
I saw Soomi struggling to stay awake.
"Soomi... I'm so sorry" her head snapped up and she looked at me sad mad {home}
"Where have you been?" She asked
"At the park go sleep" I told her I didn't want her to know about Brie.
"HOW CAN I SLEEP WHEN I CAN'T FIND MY HUSBAND AT 12 PM! HOW CAN I SLEEP WHEN I DON'T KNW WHERE HE IS OR WHAT HE'S DOING! HOW CAN I NOT POSSIBLY BE WORRIED?!? WHERE WERE YOU? ARE YOUR FRIENDS AND I LESS IMPORTANT THAN YOUR GIRLFRIEND? IS THAT WHAT THIS IS? IN THAT CASE I DONT WANT TO BE IN IT! I THOUGHT YOU changed. I guess not" she yelled and ran upstairs.
"YEAH? I DON'T CARE" I yelled back
