I finally got to calm down and Nathan kept telling me that we were going to an amazing restaurant. The last time I went to an "amazing" restaurant was when I went with my dad, before he got sick. We went to celebrate my 18th birthday, I had no clue it would be my last birthday with him. We went to a place about a block away from where my moms' restaurant would have been. After we went to the restaurant my dad took me back to our house where a homemade cake was waiting for us. You could tell it was homemade because it was mushy, really mushy.

Nathan and I sat down at a table in this fancy place called Adelina's. We ordered and he was talking to me about gibberish, at least that's what I heard. My mom's favorite recipe is gone. She used to hold it in her hands. A tear rolled down my face, I tried to hide it. It didn't really work.

"You okay?" He says taking a bite of his steak. I nod and quietly eat my soup. Soup was my dads favorite food. He would order a kind of soup every time he had a chance.

"That recipe was my mom's favorite," I say eating a piece of bread.

"What does your mom do now?" He says looking at me genuinely.

"My mom actually died when I was young. She was going to open a restaurant, that recipe card was her favorite recipe that she made up," I explain then take a breath.

"Oh I'm sorry," He says.

"So where did you find my phone?" I say, remembering why he came over in the first place. Then it dawned on me, we are at a nice restaurant and we are learning about each other. Well he's learning more about me.

"On a bench, I also found a drunk guy that was gaining a black eye," He says laughing. It doesn't hurt to be too careful. I smile and eat another bite. This night is actually turning out nice. My "date" actually showed up.

"Well since you were on the campus, I'm guessing that you are a student at Yale?" I say looking at him. Yes I am starting to trust him, but I still need to be careful.

"Yes I am planning to be a doctor," He says eating the rest of his steak. A doctor? A doctor?!? Is he playing with me?

"Oh really," I say smiling. He looks at me and nods.

"What's the big deal?" He says. What will he do if I tell him?

"Well I want to be a doctor too," I say then I finish the rest of my soup.

"Oh you are such a copy cat, I bet you anything that I wanted to be one before you," He says smiling. Suddenly I hear another voice.

"Are you interested in having dessert?" A waitress asks. I look at him since he is basically the one in charge.

"Uh sure can we have the dessert menu?" He says smiling at me. I smile back as the waitress gives us the menus then walks away.

"Whoa, um are you paying? I mean, seeing the prices," I say looking at the mouth watering desserts.

"Yes I am paying, don't worry about it," He says smiling, "So what are you getting?" He puts down the menu and looks at me. Those eyes searching mine. I smile and put the menu up, hiding my red face. My first real "date" is going better than I could imagine, and I didn't even plan for it to be this way.

~Nathan~

Her blue eyes were hidden by the menu. This was turning into a date, and I could tell she was starting to trust me. Finally she puts the menu down and tells me what she wants, the fruit tart that is the cheapest thing on the menu. I roll my eyes and order the desserts. I look back and see her smiling, showing her dimples. I cannot get to know her or else I will never be able to kill her. The waitress comes back with the desserts and the first thing that Rori does is take off the fruit.

"You know the meaning of the fruit tart is to eat the tart with the fruit on," I say with a laugh she smiles and eats the tart. I roll my eyes and take a bite of my chocolate cake and she watches me.

"Well the tart part is good," She says eying the cake still. I laugh as she eats another bite.

"Do you want to share," I say pushing the cake towards her. I laugh as she nods and takes a huge bite. Brown crumbs line her mouth and she smiles with a brown smile.

"Don't you like this smile?" She asks smiling even bigger. Her dimples still showing through and her blue eyes looking at me.

"It's beautiful," I say still watching her eyes. She closes her lips and I can see her tongue go over her teeth. She wipes off the rest with a napkin. She smiles once more and asks me if I still like it.

"Still beautiful," I say leaning in with out a thought. I just kissed Rori, the girl that I am supposed to kill. If my boss finds out then he'll send out an assassin for me. What am I going to do?
