~Rori~

"This is way to much Lilly," I say pushing her away. She rolls her eyes and finish up my hair. She hands me a pair of heels and pushes me out of the door with a smile on her face. I turn around and open the door, she is standing behind it and she hands me my white converse in exchange with the heels. I smile and walk away, actually becoming excited for tonight.

I walked into the dance studio and it was quiet, which was unusual due to the fact that pretty much everyone dances to music. I walked into one of the empty dark dance rooms, still finding no one. I go back to the reception desk, no one. I glance at the clock above it was 7:10. This had to be a trap, I bring out my gun from my bag and slowly search the building. One room after another, no one. I finally gave up and went to my car. I looked at the dark building, until I realized that it was weird for a closed studio to be unlocked. I kept my gun lying on the top of the glove box and locked the car, still on guard for everything. I finally called Drew, waiting for him to answer.

"Hey, what's up?" He answers and I could hear his smile. I started to panic, I didn't even know what I said.

All I knew is that I ended with saying goodbye. I knew I rambled, and I knew I had been terrified. I hung up while he was asking me if I was okay. I slowly unlocked my door with my gun and phone in my purse, ready for anything. I entered once more hearing everything I could. I entered a room with no lights and I saw myself in the mirror. It was sad, I was in a dress with a nervous look on my face. I quickly realized that I had to be ready for everything, that means that I cannot be scared.

Then I remembered the moment when I had gone out for food, I still was living in the cheap apartment. I thought that they gave up trying to find me, and I was hungry. I needed to take a chance to take away my hunger pains, I had to take a risk. I was carrying my groceries back to the apartment when I heard the familiar footsteps and went through the routine of beating the assassin up. That assassin gained a black eye that day and I ended up in my apartment, alone, but not afraid.

I suddenly hear someone step into the room and I see my shoulders back with a brave looking face. I quickly turn around with my gun pointed at the being, finger on the trigger. I look at the terrified face of Drew and dropped the gun. I immediately regretted coming back into the empty dark building. He puts his hands up and we stare at each other for a few seconds. He carefully bends down and picks up the gun.

"Why do you have this?" He says slowly, I couldn't tell what he was thinking. I remain silent, it felt like I wasn't even alive. I take a deep breath, thinking about how I can cover this up. It would be next to impossible  for him to believe me. I look at the ground trying to think of an amazing story that will not make him think I am a psycho.

"Rori, what is going on," He says very sternly. I step closer to him trying to comfort him, still trying to think of a reason. He just mirrored me and stepped away from me. I watch his hands scaring me as he holds his phone. He must be thinking I am a weirdo that he just started dating.

"Don't dial, please," I finally manage to say. He looks at his phone then places it on the table that was holding a stereo. He at least trusted me a little. I walk a bit closer, I had to get that gun back, just in case. He still stepped back, but not as much as the first time.

"I received a note saying to meet someone here, I came and no one was here. The thing is I know that you or other workers would not leave the building for the night with it unlocked. I got my gun out because I was scared," I explain, breaking the silence. He gives me a small smile and walks closer, giving me back the gun. I smile and put it in my bag, still slowly to show him that he could still trust me.

"You still trusted me after you saw the gun in my car, so you deserve to be trusted in this situation," He says hugging me with his arms around my waist. I rest my head on his shoulder and we just sit there in the best hug I've ever had. Until I noticed a black figure at the door, so I nonchalantly pulled out from the hug and reached for my gun. I knew I needed to act quickly in order to not die from the figure shooting first, if it had a gun. I quickly aimed the gun at the person, dropping my bag in the process. The figure instantly ran away. I look at Drew and then back at the door.

"I have to find out who that is," I say then run after the figure leaving Drew behind with a confused look. I followed it, or ran after it, to the outside of the dance studio. I finally was glad that I did that one year of track. I jumped on the person and tackled them then turned them over. It was the person that I have never thought I'd see again. I looked at his tuxedo that was just dragged on the ground. I quickly stood off and brushed my now wrinkled dress, I felt immediate guilt.

"I am so sorry Nathan," I say watching him stand up, dusting off the gravel that was embedded in his suit. I hear the footsteps of Drew running towards us with confusion still caked on his face. I had pulled a gun on two people already.

"Sorry I'm a bit late," He says, making my guilt level increase. Of course he's late, of course. I always expected the worst out of situations, just like my dad. Drew looks at me, he's probably thinking that I am the psycho of the year. I was stuck with two men mad at me. I do not know what to do.
