I was currently about to get out of detention in 50 seconds. Fairy Godmother just kept on eyeing me and looking at her watch. With detention it's always the same thing. Sit and listen. Oh joy. What you're mainly listening to is no noise. Which to me is wonderful so I didn't really find it as punishment.

Fairy Godmother's timer went off meaning detention was over. I stood up and quickly made my way out before she started giving me a lecture about how I have to be more efficient and follow the school rules. I know that she's the school's Headmistress and all, but sometimes I think she takes that title a little far.

I started walking to Jay and Carlos' dorm. I might as well give a proper hello since I felt the way one I gave before was kind of rushed. When I got there I knocked on the door waiting for it to open. It took a while but then I was welcomed to Carlos with game controllers in his hands and chocolate on his face.

"ELLIE!", he screamed before hugging me once again.

"This seems a little familiar. Oh yeah, we just went through this same thing an hour ago.", I said.

He let go and then blushed in embarrassment. "Oh right, sorry."

I laughed. "I'm just kidding. Give me a hug!" I wrapped my arms around him as tight as I could and he hugged back. It's nice to have one of my buddies back.

Once we parted Carlos just stared at me. "Well, aren't you gonna let me in?", I asked.

"Oh yeah, sorry." He opened the door wide enough for me to walk in and shut it instantly.

I looked over at the flat screen to see that a video game was paused.

"Whatcha playing?", I asked, walking over to the screen.

"I have no idea, but I love it. It's like I'm fighting people but on a game. It's so cool!", he exclaimed. He got back on the platform and started playing the game again.

I looked around the room and didn't see anyone else in it.

"Where's Jay?", I asked.

"He's in the bathroom. Probably stealing some soaps or something."

I laughed at his joke and started walking over to the chair next to the wall.

"I have so many questions, you know."

"Okay. Shoot.", he said while dodging something coming at him from the game.

"How has life been at the Isle of The Lost? What has the gang been up to? How're you guys' parents? What-"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, one at a time." I looked to my right and saw Jay coming out of the bathroom.

"JAY!" I ran up and hugged him knowing that he would hug me back.

"What's up kiddo?"

"Nothing much, but now it's time for you guys to answer my questions. Like, how have you guys been?", I said, letting him go from the hug.

He led me to his bed and that's when we started talking.

"Well, we've been okay. Our parents are still the same. Nothing much has changed on the island. Pretty much the same thing. But what about you, what has the famous Ellie been up to?", he asked wrapping his arm around me.

"Nothing has been going on with me."

He scoffed and laughed. "Yeah right, you're telling me for these past 5 years you've been doing nothing at this school. With these little princesses and princes and good lunches and magic."

"There is no magic here. It's basically all retired. Didn't Ben tell you guys that already?"

He shrugged and started looking at ease. "Well, yeah he did, but who knows? Maybe there might be something else here in Auradon Prep with enough magic to maybe..."
