Day 25

Matts pov

I woke up with Kassidy beside me. I honestly forgot they were here. I'm kind of bothered that her friend Connor came...but I'll live. I got up and walked into the kitchen to see Connor. Speaking of the devil. I see he made coffee!

"Morning" I say walking into the kitchen.

"Morning!" He said taking a sip of his coffee.

"What you up to?" I ask him walking over and sitting on the couch with him.

"Tumblr" he responds bluntly.

"Listen up doofus, I don't know what's up with you and Kassidy, but you, back off. I've known her ever since we were babies, I'm her best fr-" I started but doofus interrupted me.

Connors pov

"Her best friend? When was the last time you spoke to her? Called her? Skyped her? Hasn't been for a while now! A year? 2 years? I talk to her EVERY day! Even when I don't see her! And for the record, Erielle and Alexi are her best friends." I argue. Why did he have to go all bozo on me! I'm the guest...

"Well I've known her longer than you have! I've known her all my -" he started bickering until Kassidy walked over. Then it just was awkward. So I went up to my room.

A while later, Kassidy came to my room.

"Hey Con." She said.

"Hey Kass, wanna sit?" I ask patting a spot beside me.

"I was actually coming to ask if you wanted to join Matt and I, we are going to Timmys for breakfast." She offered.

"Nah I'm good. Thanks anyways. How long have you known Matt?" I ask.

"Since I was 7 why?" She asks.

"No reason! You go have fun!" I said.

"Connor....is there something you are hiding from me?" She says slowly walking up to me.

"No..." I said and suddenly, she started tickling me. I'm very ticklish! Then she sat on my torso and kept on tickling me.

I grabbed her waist and flipped her around so that I was now sitting in her and I started tickling her.

She randomly grabbed my shirt and pulled me towards her and she.....kissed me? I didn't mind it though, so I kissed back. It lasted a while until Matt walked in.

"We ready to go?" He asked awkwardly.

"Ummm, yeah!" Kassidy said jumping up and walking out the door.

"See ya!" She said waving at me.

Kassidy's pov

I can't believe I just did that! What was I thinking!!!

"You ok?" Matt tapped my shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm ok." I say assuringly and we walk into Timmys. We ordered then we sat down. Wow! Fascinating!

"Hey Kassidy" Matt said quietly.

"Yeah?" I answered softly. Suddenly, it looked like Matt was gonna cry. "Matt, what's wrong?" I asked sincerely.

"It's C-Connor, this morni-ing, Connor was saying  that you were a slut and a whore and stuff like that. I tried standing up for you but he just ignored me. I'm sorry Kassidy." He said letting a tear go. I can't believe Connor would say that!

"Ok thanks for telling me Matt, I'm gonna go for a walk. I'll catch up with you later." I said and left him.

After I left, I just walked around. I kept on thinking about Connor. I decided to call Sam.

Ring ring...

"Hello?" Sam answered.

"Hi Sam. I really need to talk to you. Do you have a minute?" I asked. Then I heard a faint sound of some girl calling Sam. And it wasn't his mom. C'mon Sammy! Baaaaabbbee! C'mon! The voice mumbled. "Sam, who's that?" I asked.

"It's...my uh.....sister!" He said hesitantly.

"You don't have a sister!" (Let's pretend for the book) I said. I'M SAMS GIRLFRIEND!!!! I heard the voice from across the line. Who you talking to Sammers? She asked. "I'm talking to Kassidy." He answered. I guess I know this mysterious girl. HIIIIIII KASSIDY! It's Alexi! I also herd kissing noises. I just froze. My best friend? My boyfriend!?SAM IS CHEATING ON ME!

"Sam?" I said quivering.

"It's not what it sounds like Kass!" He said quickly.

"Yeah, I know what it sounds like! It sounds like we are through!" I said and hung up.

Connor was talking about me behind my back and my boyfriend was cheating on me! My best friend was cheating on me with my boyfriend. When I thought this day couldn't get any worse, someone ran into me on their longboard.

"Hey! Watch it!" I yell.

"Sorry." He said helping  me up. "Wait. Kassidy? Kassidy Camilla?" He said curiously. I looked up and noticed that it was my other friend Jesus (hey-zeus) Foster.

"Jesus? Foster?!" I asked getting excited. He nodded and pulled me into a hug.

"Hey, are you ok? I kind of ran into you with my board. How you doing?" He asked apologetically.

"Well, I've been good. But today has been one of the worst days ever!" I said trying not to cry.

"Hey it's ok" he said pulling me into his chest. "Let's go somewhere and talk about it. Wanna come over?" He asked.

"Sure!" I said and we rode his longboard together back.

When we got to his house, he walked in and yelled to everyone that I was here. Brandon greeted me first, then Marianna, then the rest of the gang.

"Kassidy, this is Callie and Jude. We are fostering them." Lena introduced me to them.

"Hi! It's nice to meet you!" I said waving at them.

We talked and hung out for a bit until I had to leave.

"It was nice having you here." Jesus told me at his doorstep. It was dark out.

"Yeah, well it was nice seeing you! We gotta keep in touch!" I say handing him my phone. We swapped numbers.

"You got a little something on your shirt." He said pointing at my chest. So I looked down, but Jesus swerved his head around and kissed me. I guess you could say that it wasn't bad seeing I don't have a boyfriend anymore. I pulled his shirt and kissed him harder.

"Goodnight Jesus" I said breaking the kiss and walking home.

"Hey! Let's hang out later! How about tomorrow at 2?" He asked.

"Ok" I yelled back seeing I was already halfway down the driveway.

Today was an......ok day I guess...
