"shit! shit! shit! shit!" she was late as usual. it was her first day of school and she wanted to make an impression... and a good one at that but seeing as she was already late for school it was too late for that good first impression. she rushed through the house to the bathroom quickly washing her face and brushing my teeth. running to her closet to find an outfit picking out a white fitted crop top, her white tennis skirt and slipped on her adidas and grabbed her jacket . she stood in the mirror of the vanity fixing her dark black curls and putting on a little bit of makeup. she noticing the time she grabbed her backpack and hat dashing for the door grabbing her keys. "ms. mcclain this isn't a good way to start off your first day here." the secretary glared at her as she guided ashely to her third class of the day. "i know i'm really sorry-" she nervously started to ramble only to be cut off.
"no apologies necessary i was just joking i know it's your second day here you mom said it takes a bit of time for adjustments," she smiled as i let out a sigh of relief. "well here we are room 375." she said pointing to the room.
"mr. goldberg this is ashely your new student." she smiled as the entire class watch me. "ahhhhhhh! ms. mcclain i've heard so many good things about you. take a seat next to mr. hood." he smiled. "calum please stand up."
calum?
the familiar name rang through her ears. slowly the tall dark haired boy from the cute little coffee shop rose to his feet and his glowing brown eyes making contact with mine as she shuffled her way through the rows of desk making her way to her seat.
"now as i was saying hooke's law..." mr. goldberg's lecture quickly drowned out of my mind as i could feel calum staring. "ashely huh?"
"yup" his head slightly tilting as if he were analyzing me for a moment. "why did you leave the coffee shop so soon?"
"maybe it was because you were on a date!" i say a little to loudly earning a few glares making me shrink down into my seat. "so she was just a girl i met at a party, i forgot i even asked her on a date that night." he lightly chuckled. "that makes it so- much better," i say sarcastically. "mr. hood leave ms. mcclain alone and turn to page 187 in your textbook. you can flirt with ms. mcclain after class until then pay attention in my class," mr. goldberg reprimanded. "really cal she's only been in here for two minutes and your already trying to get her into your bed." the pale blue haired boy laughed making my cheeks heat up. "shut up michael," cal spat making the the blue haired boy only laugh at his aggression.
