calum stayed at the hospital with me ever since the accident. i promised him i'd be fine but he wouldn't take no for answer. making sure that i got the chance to eat knowing if he wouldn't have made me i probably wouldn't have these past few days. it's been fourteen days since the incident and i still can't get over it. i can't stop replaying the scene of her in me lap choking on her own blood. her face all cut and bruised. tears rolling down her cheek. "you told me you had an idea of who did... this... but you never said who," calum tried not wanting to push the subject. "i... uh... my ex..." i mumbled. "do you want to talk about it," he sympathized.

what do i talk about? what do i tell him? oh yeah lets also talk about the beatings i got everyday for my mistakes or his drug filled rages he used to take out on me. i was just his fun little frail punching bag. let's not forget the humiliation in front of all of his friends or going home to my mom bruised and bloody every single night and hearing her cry at night because she thought one day i wouldn't come home and she'd find out i was dead. but now it's the complete opposite. now let's talk about that and see how fast he runs for the nearest exit or like he said how fast he turns into him. i laugh pathetically bringing my knees to my chest snuggling into them slightly. "calum i think you should stay away from me,"

"what," his voice cracking, shocked my words. "why would i do that why would you say that."

"it's for the better,"

"what the fuck do you mean for the better?" he yelled shooting up out of his seat. "calum you're causing a scene please." he just huffed grabbing his jacket. "well i guess i should leave then," i just nuzzled into my knees even more as he walked out. "mr. hood leaving so soon?" dr. martinez questions me as he walked in."yeah he just... had to go..." he smiled.

"well your mom looks great she had a little internal bleeding but thankfully we got to it before it was a problem, a broken arm, bruised rib and a few cuts and bruises. she's free to go home in a few days but she'll be bed ridden. just nurse her wounds and don't let her try to do too much. i'm giving you a prescription of oxycontin and naproxen for the pain. we will release her tomorrow morning probably. we just want to keep her for now to make sure she's okay." a sense of relief washed over me only leaving the pang of guilt for my mom because being in this condition because of me and telling calum to leave but it's what's best for him. "but so far she's recovering perfectly, so don't worry too much about it. give her sometime and she'll be back to her old self again" he smiled leaving the room once again.

ash 💣: i'm coming to see you 😁

ash 💣: what room are you in

ash 💞: 407

ash 💞: the room door is unlocked

ash 💣: okay i'll be there in like 5 don't move!!!!

ash 💣: i'm serious! if you move i'll cut your leg off and feed it to the scary looking cat outside my house.

ash 💣: seriously this cat scares the shit out of me

"...she told me to leave." i mumbled walking to the fridge to grab a drink. "so you just walked away?" michael questioned. "well yeah didn't you just hear me?"

"so the girl you've been damn near obsessed with since she first got here and you just walked away didn't fight, didn't do shit but grab your jacket and whatever else you had and decided to leave... you're a fucking idiot you know that right?" he said sarcastically as he got of the kitchen stool and walked over to the couch. "what are you doing?" i asked as he walked away from our conversation grabbing his phone. "what does it look like i'm doing calling luke and ashton to tell them they might still have a chance, what the fuck else would i be doing?"

"shut the hell up michael and put the fucking phone down!" i gritted. "well you act like it's not the truth! you know it is," he retorted. "this same fucking girl i can't stop hearing shit about and you just leave because she said so! not asking why, or seeing if maybe something was wrong just leaving! she's going through a horrible situation and knowing her she probably feels guilty for putting you through it. yet you left her to deal with it alone? what the actual fuck calum!" he spat. "whatever you know the talent scout called us? he wanted to meet back up with us, he said something about a tour with hot chili rae,"

"and now you're just telling me this now?" i spat. "well i figured you'd be busy with ashely and taking care of her so i thought i'd tell you after her mom left the hospital." he simply shrugged. "well she's not this important,"

"really?" michael shakes his head grabbing his belongings and leaving slamming the door shut without saying another word.

ashton decided to drag me down to the café area making me walk around and talk. he figured that i haven't left the room at all and he wasn't wrong. "are you hungry?" he smiled. "just a little," i say as we walked in. "where's calum?" he questioned pulling out my seat for me. "he went home..."

"why?" he asked raising a brow at me. "because i told him it would be better for him."

"and what makes you figure that?"
