“B-But I'm scared” She whispered, her eyes meeting his briefly. He smiled softly and pulled her closer, her body pressed flushed against his. Her wide eyes stared at him, he smiled with a mischievous glint in his eyes and whispered “Jaan”

“Y-Yea?” She asked, lowering her gaze, her grip on his shoulders tightened. His eyes soften, lips curled upwards, he whispered “If you are scared. It doesn't makes you weak. The way you face that fear of yours shows who you really are”

She stared at him, her eyes held softness and affection. He continued “That day you fell. Today, you stepped inside again. He smiled and gently lifted her, a gasp left her lips, with careful steps, he stepped towards the shore and made her sit on the earth. He remained in the water, his arms placed on her lap, she was looking down at him. He spoke “Take my jacket, it's cold”

“But you?” She whispered. He smirked and said flexing his body “I'm born a hero”

She let out soft giggles, she leaned back her Saree uplifted a little, showing her smooth waist skin, the temping navel right in front of his eyes. His eyes widen and he turned his face, muttered under his breathe “Control Jeon, She's innocent”

She took his jacket and draped it over her shoulder and sighed in contentment, she whispered “It's warm and soft”

“Just like you” He grinned. She slapped his cheek softly yet affectionately and muttered “Besharam!”

“My Secret?” He asked. She nodded, he smiled, he gently took her hand in his, he rubbed her knuckles softly and said “I always wanted to be an Army Officer”

“What? Then why you become a doctor?” She asked genuinely confused. His lips curled into a bittersweet smile, he chuckled softly. She could feel the pain behind the humorless chuckle. He started “Mom dad didn't agreed. They said we are wasting our money if you choose that”
