Jungkook stood in the hall, his eyebrows knitted, lips curved into an invisible sulking pout, hands folded on his chest and face filled with a dramatic wounded pride. He stared into the kitchen, the ladies laughing, chatting, gossiping and things he couldn't make sense of.

“Ugh!” He muttered under his breath, throwing his hands in exaggerated gestures as his eyes widened in offense. He smoothened his non-rippled shirt, cleared his throat and walked towards the kitchen.

“Excuse me?” He knocked onto the door, the ladies turned towards him. Before he could say a word, Tae passed by him, her shoulder brushed his arm, her head draped respectfully with a veil.

“Uh…. Sorry!” He said, almost exclaimed and rushed behind his wife. The ladies in the kitchen blinked and several chuckles were heard.

Jungkook walked behind Tae and called, “Tae.”

She fastened her steps, her hand reaching to tug her veil more, covering her face from his side view. He frowned, he said, “Tae, you have been ignoring me since morning. What did I do?”

She stopped for a second, and again started walking. Jungkook let out a sigh, walked behind her until they came into the garden corridor. The soft glow of sunlight had bathed the surrounding and was shining on them, on the floor delicately.

“Jaan,” He called again, no answer. A frustrated sigh left his lips, he held the hem of her saree and pulled her closer, a sharp gasp left her lips as she spun and collided on his chest. His arms wrapped around her waist in a steady, protective gesture. Her hands fisted his clothed chest as their eyes met.

Tae looked down, whispering in a soft tone, “Leave me.”

“Not even in my dreams of the next seven lives.” He said, his voice carried a kind of intensity that made her to suck a sharp breath. She lowered her gaze, his eyes softened, he gently made her sit on the stairs of the corridor leading to the garden and himself sat beside her.

His right arm wrapped around her shoulder gently as he tucked her closer and asked, “Tell me, why are you avoiding me?”

She ducked her head down, her cheeks flushing crimson. He saw her nervously playing with her fingers, a smile formed on his lips, he gently kept his chin on her shoulder and stared at her side profile, a laugh bubbled through his chest as he saw his nose brushing her cheek that turned even a deeper shade of red.

“Hmm? Say.” He whispered. She looked away, a mischievous glint flickered into his eyes, he teasingly licked her neck making her frozen. She turned sharply towards him and said, “You're so shameless!”

“For you? Of Course, Sweetheart.” He winked at her. She pouted slightly looking away, her expression still shy. She looked down and started, “I was… feeling shy to talk with you… after… last night.”

Jungkook blinked for a moment and then a chuckle rumbled through his throat. He affectionately pinched her cheek and said in a teasing tone, “But you were the one who came to me all boldly wearing my shirt that also without a br—”

She clamped her palm on his mouth, stopping him from saying anything further. Her face was flushing a deeper shade of red, she hit his chest and said glaring, “Shut up! You're so shameless, what if someone will hear?”

“So? You are my wife and these things make sense.” He said casually. She shook her head and lightly hit his chest muttering something incoherent under her breath.

Suddenly, he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her on his lap making her eyes go wide. She looked all around and said, “Leave me! Someone will see!”
