They back away. Her gaze lowered, cheeks flaming, and his eyes stared at her with softness as if her entire existence spoke the volumes of heaven. She slowly looked up and pointed at his lips. Confused, he touched and bounced his eyebrows asking ‘what?’, she lowered her gaze and muttered “Lipstick… mark”
“Do you have a handkerchief?” She asked, looking up at him shyly. He shook his head shrugging his shoulders. She actioned him to bend down through her hand, and he obeyed. She gently cupped his left cheek and softly started wiping the lipstick off his lips through the hem of her Saree. His eyes stared at her and her eyes remained on his lips, not making eye contact.
“Your lipstick is smeared too.” He whispered, her gaze flickered to him, meeting his eyes for a brief second before she looked away and nodded. She took her hem to clean her lips just to feel a gentle grip on her wrist. She looked beside him, he pulled out a velvet handkerchief from his pocket with the initial ‘J ♡ T’, the same one she gave him 7 years ago. The edges have slightly worn out and yet it looked like it was kept with utter care as a treasure to one's heart.
He started wiping the smeared lipstick from the corner of her lips, once done he kept it back and chuckled, flickering her cheek. This time instead of whining, she looked down with a shy chuckle. He laughed softly. She asked while playing with the hem of her Saree, “Why would you lie if you had a handkerchief?”
“Even your touch is divine.” he smiled,.her heart vibrated like a string and she pressed her face against his chest, her cheeks flushing, with a shy smile. A heartfelt laughter escaped his lips, his arms curled around her waist as he pulled her closer. He leaned down slightly and whispered “How much do you blush?”
“How much you make me shy.” She replied, her fingers gripped his shirt and a chuckle left his lips. He said “Jaan, it's getting late, we should leave.”
She nodded and backed away, her eyes looking everywhere but him. He said “Madam, look at me too”
“Hath!” She slapped his shoulder, blushing. He laughed and sat on the bike, she climbed behind him. The ride was silent and at moments, he would tease her and she would slap his shoulder.
The mansion was in a rustled state, children playing, women behind their children, old ladies gossiping, men working, some talking. Youngsters were missing.
“Arey, you both come so early?” Eunyoo asked. Jungkook nodded and said playfully “So what do you expect?”
“I thought now I'll dream of having a grandchild…..” Eunyoo said as a matter-of-factly. Jungkook choked and Tae looked at them in confusion. He said flustered “Maa!”
Yuna pressed her palm on her lips and laughed silently. She cleared her throat and said “Fine fine”
Jungkook held Tae's wrist and walked upstairs. Tae let herself be followed by him. The door to their room clicked shut behind them. Jungkook ON the fan and flopped on the bed, exhausted. Tae sat beside him and asked “Why does maa mean?”
“She wants grandchildren,” Jungkook muttered. Tae said “How will you give her?”
“Through you.” He muttered. She tilted her head in confusion. He chuckled and flickered her cheek making her whine. He stood up, took off his shirt and lay back on the bed. She stood up to go unpinning the pallu of her Saree just to feel a tug on her saree's pallu. A gasp left her lips when she left herself behind pulled back, her feet spun and she fell on him, her forearms pressed against his barely chest, his veiny arms wrapped around her waist. Their faces are inches apart.
