Final Author's Note

So, this is sad. I'm sad.
I started writing Hallie and Harry's journey on February 21st, 2015 and now here we are on August 5th, 2015, at the end.
I can't really explain to you what a pleasure it's been, sharing their story with you lot.
You have all been so incredibly supportive and you've stood by me through it all and I want you to know how absolutely grateful I am.
I started writing fan-fiction in 2012 and it really started because I had moved from Southern California to Rhode Island and I had no friends and it sucked, but I met you guys (virtually, of course) and I gained so many amazing readers....it's funny, this "fandom", we really are like a super dysfunctional family who mainly haven't really met, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I've met my very best friend, Kyra, through writing and I am so, so lucky because she's so wonderful and beautiful and her writing is just lovely and I couldn't have asked for a better co-author/best friend/sister.
This group of people, it's so much more than just five boys. I think that so many of us will stay friends for a long, long time and I cannot wait for the future.
Now...with all of that being said, I'd like to bring another subject up. My non-fan-fiction. Fortresses is going to be a difficult story to write, solely because it's a lot of truth that has happened to me...it's about a boy who I really am crazy about and when I say crazy, I mean, if he and Harry Styles were both standing in front of me, wanting me, I'd choose Josh. I wouldn't choose Harry, and that is absolutely fücking terrifying. I know that it's not about One Direction, but if you want to make me the happiest girl in the world, you'll bear with me on this. I don't normally beg but I'm begging-pleading with you guys. Please, please just give it a shot? That's all I ask.
Kyra and I will be working on something big though....soon. She's got a few days left of summer school (college sucks) and then she's all mine haha and Jade will be back up and running!!!! I'm very excited for this, but I'm even more excited for what we have planned!
I'm going to be marking Stand Here With Me as completed, SO, all updates about our super big announcement will be through Jade and Fortresses....that's my way of roping you pretty people in #sorrynotsorry
Anyway....that's about it. I'd love to continue to rack up reads and votes and comments so tell your friends and family about OM/SHWM and who knows, maybe one day they'll be on the book shelves!
I love you all to the moon and back, Ky and I both do. Thank you for being so incredible.
