ix. CIPHER KEYS

After managing to get Liam through the hallway filled with a large mass of students, the trio were manage to lead the new beta into the locker room. In seconds, Liam's back was pressed up against the tile wall of the boy's locker room. At this point, Foster didn't care that she wasn't supposed to be in this locker room, Liam was wolfing out and she wasn't going to just wait outside when she could do something to help.
Bitterly ice cold water streamed from the shower head, spraying the four as they used it as a way to draw Liam back from his animal side. Each of them had a firm grip on Liam, the Dunbar boy baring his fangs in their direction as he pushed back against them.
His eyes were shining gold, the color of an innocent beta. He thrashed in their hold, releasing a series of growls as his anger continued to rise. Although, as the trio of friends continued to work to calm him down and the ice water poured down on him steadily, Liam found his heart rate slowly yet surely decreasing. He found himself coming back, letting go of the animalistic rage buried deep inside of him.
As he shoved forward again, this time without a growl, Stiles questioned, "Okay, are you calm yet?"
Almost as though he was thinking over the question, Liam paused for a moment before releasing another menacing growl.
Casting a glance toward her friend, Foster informed, "I'm gonna take that as a no."
As soon as she spoke, the three shared a look before nodding. Once again, they used their force to shove Liam back against the wall, his back pressed against it. Firmly pressing the boy there, they allowed him to once again trigger his animal side.
At this, Liam began to shake his head. The blisteringly cold water flew out of his hair as he shook it, crying out, "Okay! Okay!"
At that, they tugged Liam away from the wall, allowing him to stumble across the shower room and rest his back against the drier tiles. Scott reached for the faucet and turned it off, the rush of water ceasing. Liam rested the back of his head against the cool tile, his breaths heavy as he struggled to calm himself down entirely. He no longer felt the desire to sink his claws into someone's flesh, so he knew that was a good sign. But he did still feel the urge to punch Brett's face into oblivion.
The three turned to face Liam, Stiles releasing a sigh before allowing his back to collide with the wall beside him and sink to the ground. Holding Liam at bay was enough to tire both Stiles and Foster out, neither of them having super strength to help hold him back with.
Scott, on the other hand, was fine. He didn't feel drained like this two friends, Foster still staying on her feet but breathing heavy.
"That car you smashed, I thought you said that was your teachers," Scott spoke up, his gaze piercing into Liam. The fact that the car also belonged to his lacrosse coach was a detail so vital that it should have never been left out, yet here they were in this situation.
It turned out that Liam now did trust them. While at first he was wary and downright terrified, he was willing to listen and let them help him as best as they could. Which was comforting to them, knowing that they could now get through to Liam and help him control himself at times like these. Without their help, the occurrence prior would be a daily thing. They could make it so that he could control his animalistic rage.
"He's also my coach," Liam panted out, Foster's face falling at that. This lacrosse game just became ten times more lethal than it initially was. Foster and Stiles were both quick to share a look, the duo holding themselves back to begin persuading Scott into helping them try to get Coach to cancel the game. At this point, Foster was about ready to take action without his knowledge. "He benched me for the entire season."
