Tourney.

Evie never cared much for sports; heck she was in a castle for 10 years of her life with nobody but her mother. She hadn't even seen any sort of strenuous physical activity until she started going to school on the Isle, and that was just running around tombs.

But Evie often found herself highly engrossed in the game. Especially when fireballs were shot towards the players in the kill zone. She couldn't help but hold her breath whenever Jay, Carlos or even Ben were targeted.

Stressful or not, Evie made it a point to go to every game possible.

"GO KNIGHTS!" The cheerleaders screeched as the crowd shouted in agreement.

Evie nudged Mal as the coach pointed Carlos towards the dragon shooter, indicating that he was going to be a shooter.

"They're all screwed," Mal laughed looking at Evie, who nodded in agreement. They both knew that while Ben was working with Carlos he found out that where he lacked on the field, he made up for with the dragon shooter.

The referee blew his whistle, and the opposite team started with the ball. They were doing well until reaching the kill zone, where Carlos hit their player in the shoulder with a fireball, giving Jay the chance to steal the ball.

The announcer yelled into his microphone as Jay and Ben passed it back and forth before making it into the goal just as the buzzer sounded, ending the game.

The crowd cheered madly as Ben and Jay chest bumped. The two found that they work well together on the field, and were nearly unbeatable. Carlos joined the two, screaming.

"Did you see my shot?" He asked the other boys eagerly, yelling to be heard above the roar of the crowd.

"That was amazing Carlos," Ben agreed as Jay messed up the younger boys hair.

The marching band played as the crowd started to disperse. Mal and Evie made their way down to the three,  congratulating them all.

"Those guys never had a chance" Mal smiled leaning into Ben's side. He put his arm around her shoulders, shaking his head.

"This is the best season we've had in years" he added.

" I think I can guess why," Evie teased as she looked at Jay. "Really though bring it down a notch and try not to kill anyone."

Jay smiled slightly and looked at the opposing team, where half of the players were icing some sort of Jay-inflicted injury.

"Shall we celebrate?" Carlos asked. The group nodded and they all made their way towards the boy's dorm. Jay and Carlos's room had become almost a hangout for the teens, and you could almost always find them in there goofing around and having a good time.

Mal and Ben didn't stop holding hands the whole way up, leading to some teasing from the boys and some playful nudges from Evie. Ben left the group and went to his room for a change of clothes, promising to meet up with them.

Just as the four reached the boy's room Evie put out her arm to stop Mal from entering.

"We'll wait out here so you guys can get changed," she offered. The boys nodded, entering the room and shutting the door behind them.

Mal looked questionably at Evie, who wore one of her dazzling smiles.

"So...." Evie questioned.

"So?" Mal scrunched her eyebrows.

"You and Ben?" Evie taunted. "Did you finally let him kiss you?"

Mal looked at her blue-haired friend with obvious surprise at the question.

"Why do you ask that?" She answered.

"Because it's been nearly a month since you started dating!" Evie whispered excitedly.

"Well the time comes when it comes," Mal teased as Carlos opened the for them. "Plus I don't kiss and tell," she said quietly as they walked through the door. Evie smiled as the three sat down at the table. Jay walked over and zipped up his favorite sleeveless vest as he turned the chair around and sat with the back between his legs. Just then Ben walked into the room.

"I ordered pizza," he announced.

"Did you get those little chocolate things?" Carlos questioned hopefully.

"Brownies? Yeah I got them." Ben assured the younger boy.

"Yes!" He said to himself, earning a nod and chuckle from Jay.

Ben took the seat next to Mal as Evie smirked at her friend.

"Did you see the poster in the hall?" Ben asked the group. They all looked at the young king in confusion. "It's for the next dance."

"Another dance?" Mal groaned, not being one for any sort of party.

"Nice," Jay smiled.

"I need more fabric," Evie whispered, looking into the distance.

"When is it?" Carlos asked.

"Two weeks," Jay answered. "Then I'm pretty sure there's one or two more after that before we all leave for the summer."

"You guys sure like your dances," Mal huffed.

"On the island we never had any," Evie added.

"We had some pretty cool parties though," Jay laughed, nudging Carlos. "Remember the last one?"

"Who could forget?" Carlos answered, looking at Mal.

"I got locked in a closet." Evie said looking down at her folded hands.

"Who would do that?" Ben furrowed his eyebrows.

Jay and Carlos tried to hold back a laugh, but failed, earning the attention of Ben.

"I don't know," Jay shrugged smirking at Mal.

Mal looked at Evie who was giggling a little before looking at Ben.

"We weren't on the best of terms..." She  explained, blowing her bangs out of her face.

Ben shook his head slightly laughing. "Remind me not to get on your bad side ."

There was a knock at the door as Mal smiled. Jay got up opened the door and took the boxes, shutting the door just as the delivery boy started to speak.

As Jay put the boxes on the table Ben got out his wallet and walked over to the door, paying and apologizing.

"You have to PAY?" Carlos asked between bites of pizza.

"Of course," Ben answered, putting a slice on his plate as Jay shrugged and took another bite.

"That's new," he mumbled.

They all ate in silence and then opened the brownies, watching in amusement as Jay knocked Carlos to the ground over the last brownie, although they had all eaten many.

Carlos quickly shoved it in his mouth before the older boy could take it, earning a smack on the head from Jay as he got back in his seat.

Evie got up and put everyone's trash in the can before sitting back down.

"How about a movie?" She asked.

The others nodded and moved around the room, getting comfortable as the movie started.

Stuff had been going well for the group since the coronation. Nothing major had happened, and for the most part everyone made up with their classmates. But unknowingly, this would be one of the last peaceful nights for the group of ex-villains, and there was a lot of change right around the corner.
