Hey guys! Just a quick note to help explain that last chapter.

My thought when I wrote this was that Audrey and Chad just wanted things to go back to normal. Audrey was used to being part of the school's power couple and Chad was pretty much the best player on the tourney team, not to mention also a HUGE flirt.

I just felt like they would want things back to how they were. Kind of like the HSM song "status quo".

I don't think they want to hurt anyone, they just want their old life back.

That said, let's continue!

"Well it is a little unorthodox, Chad but all in all I think this will be a great opportunity!" Fairy Godmother praised.

"Why thank you," Chad said showing off his charming smile.

"Well it would be a little awkward for a few, but we can give students the chance to opt out.... We can provide an optional assignment..." The fairy rambled on as Chad slipped out of the classroom, making a beeline for Audrey's locker.

"Guess who just organized a field trip for our Social Graces class?" Chad smirked.

"What kind of fieldtrip?" Audrey pouted.

"Our class will be given the opportunity to visit and interview some certain villains in their jail cell," Chad announced.

Audrey smiled.

"And we can get them to demand that the villain kids go back to the isle," Audrey mumbled.

"And bonus," Chad started. "We can do this instead of the 10 page book report."

"You mean the book report you already paid Doug to write for you?" Audrey reminded him.

Chad's smile fell as he realized his mistake.

"Dang it."

At the picnic tables, the four isle teens and the king of Auradon were just finishing up their lunches.

"So your all settled back into your rooms?" Ben asked the four.

Evie nodded. "We brought that last few things back in right before homeroom."

"Excellent," Ben smiled. "Although I will miss only having to walk through a few hallways to see you," he said turning to Mal. The purple-haired girl glanced at her cheesy boyfriend. She found herself sometimes honestly wondering if he was under another love spell. But, due to his lack of breaking into song, she figured that he was probably just a naturally gushy person; and she didn't really mind it.

"Aww," Evie said softly, elbowing her best friend under the table.

"Well it would have been nice if our room wasn't completely soaked," Carlos spat.

"How?" Mal asked.

"Somebody left the window open when it was raining," Carlos said as he slowly turned to face Jay.

"Why do you keep blaming me?" Jay said defensively.

"Because Dude doesn't have thumbs," Carlos joked.

Jay just rolled his eyes and got up.

"Later," he smiled at his friends. Carlos followed him, still trying to yell at him about the wet room.

"You gonna miss your cuddle buddy tonight?" Mal taunted, sticking out her lower lip.

Evie opened her mouth and struggled with a response.
