Chapter one

Lucia's p.o.v

I was walking to my locker peacefully when I saw a ghost of a little girl just standing there.I was used to seeing this everyday so I walked up to her,"Hi I'm Lucia. Who are you?"The little girl looked surprised that I could see her and answered"My names Gracy.""Well Gracy its nice knowing you.Why are you here?"I asked her."I'm looking for my big brother."She said turning her head to look around."When's the last time you saw him?"I asked her."Three weeks ago when the robber killed me and him."She said sadly.I looked at her with a bit is simpathy and pity."What's his name.?"I asked her."He's full name is Jacob Carterson."She replied.I nodded knowing who it was."I know where he's at.He came yesterday looking for you. Jacob went to the cemetary near the woods."I said smiling."Thank you Lucia."Gracy said as she disappeared.I smiled glad to help another lost spirit.I walked to my locker and got out my books for spanish, language arts and history.I walked into class and sat in the seat all the way in the back next to the window.I looked outside and saw Gracy and Jacob together waving at me and smiling happily before they disappeared.I smiled and looked towards the board as the teacher was writing important notes.I took my notebook and started to write down all the notes.Once it was done the teacher announced partner work.Of course no one chose me because I was the only outcast at school not that I cared.I got the papers from the front desk and walked back to my seat quickly and unnoticed not that anyone really noticed me.I scanned over the directions and filled out the question quickly and turned it in.I sat back down and started to doodle Gracy and her brother on my sketch book.Once the bell rung I got up and collected my stuff and walked to language arts only to see a sign that we had to report to the gym.I sighed and headed to the gymnasium."Ok class Mr.Richard's class will be joining us today."the gym teacher said or more like shouted.We spent half an hour playing dodgeball being the boys against the girls.We obviously knew that the boys won taking as they take the game very seriously.After class ended I went to history class.I sat in the back seat which was also next to a window.I looked up at the sky and saw that it was going to rain."Great I didn't bring an umbrella."I whispered to myself.I turned to look at the front of class only to find out that we had a substitute teacher."Ok class you have free time."the old lady said making the class erupt in cheers.I smiled and continued drawing the background for the drawling of Gracy and Jacob.Once I finished I signed my name on it and turned to a new page just to have the bell ring to announce lunch time.I got up from my seat and walked towards my locker and placed my books in there. I took out my lunch and headed to an a abandoned classroom that no one uses anymore.I walked in and sat down on the only desk there was and started eating my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.After finishing the sandwich I drank my sprite.As I got up I was knocked down by a force out of nowhere.I sat down trying to gain my breathe and looked around the dimmed lighted classroom and saw a shadow."Who are you?And what are you?"I asked calmly even though in the inside I was absolutely terrified."I'm surprised a human can see me.As for who I am I don't want to share that with you.And what I am well I'm a shapeshifter.I can transform into your worst nightmare if I wished."the deep voice said with a chuckle."What do you want from me."I asked."Nothing really.But now that you asked I need you to do me a favor."he said seriously."And what would that be?"I asked as I got up."I need you to find information on a certain someone."he said."And who would that be?"I asked as this perked my interest."It would be a teen boy about your age his name is Tyler Johnson.He was last seen at a party out near the forest."the guy said."Oh your looking for that guy he moved last week to Florida."I said walking slowly to the door."How do I know that your not lieing?"the shapeshifter guy asked."Because he used to bully me throughout middle school and because gossip around here spreads pretty quickly."I said walking out to the art class room.Once I got there I turned in the sketch of Gracy and her brother Jacob to the art teacher.I sighed as I was bored and sat down at a random table.I was 10 minutes late to class and there was only 16 minutes left of class.once the bell rung I got up and left to get my stuff packed.Once I was done I headed to my house to be met with a crying mother and a angry father.I walked past them to my room and closed the door carefully and quietly.I changed my clothes and dressed into my pj's.I sat at my desk and started doing my homework.After about 20 minutes I finished doing the homework.I climbed on tomy bed and turned on the TV to watch a movie. Around 9:46 at night I headed to the kitchen and ate a pbandj sandwich and then headed to my room and fell asleep.
