3. First Impressions

Erin's POV

I got in the taxi to the airport and I was so excited! Today I was setting off for Playlist Live. Dan and Phil are meeting me at the airport because we are on the same flight and our seats are next to each other.  I arrived at the airport, checked in and went through security and waited by the gate. I decided to text Phil:

E: Hey Phil, are you nearly here?

P: Yep we are just walking toward the gate now. Dan's excited to see you ;)

I thought about the last text. I decided it would be stupid to over think it and just played on my phone until I saw the two tall figures walking towards me. I stood up ad hugged them both.

"Hey, guys. How are you?" I asked.

"I'm really good! How are you?" Phil said.

"I'm so excited." I said. "Do you guys wanna go and get some food?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm so hungry." Dan said.

"That's because you didn't get up in time to get breakfast." Phil said and laughed at Dan who was grinning guiltily.

"Fair enough." Dan said and laughed too.

We got some food and started talking about the weirdest things.

"People that don't know what Pokémon is scare me." I said.

"I know like how do you go through life without knowing what it is?!" Dan said.

By the time for us to board the plane we were already in tears from laughing so hard at weird stories we were telling each other. We sat on the plane and Phil was by the window, I was in the middle and Dan was in the aisle seat. After about half an hour Phil fell asleep with his headphones on. Me and Dan decided to watch a film.

"How about The Dark Knight?" Dan said

"Yep sounds good." I said and we played the movie. After a bit I felt my self drifting off to sleep to the words.

"If only I could tell you...." Dan whispered.

~A few hours later~

I woke up and my head was resting on Dan's shoulder.

"Oh sorry, Dan." I said giggling and removing my head from his shoulder.

"Don't worry about it, I didn't mind." said Dan with a slight smirk.

My face was only inches from his. I never noticed how beautiful his eyes are. He was staring back at me. I could feel myself blushing but the redness soon left when Phil tapped my shoulder

"How long have I been asleep?" Phil said taking his glasses of to rub his eyes.

"About 4 hours." I said turning back to face the seat in front of me.

"I didn't realise it was that much. I'm not even tired." Phil said putting his glasses back on.

"I'm gonna go to sleep now." Dan said and put his headphones on and closed his eyes.

Soon Phil fell asleep again. 'Not even tired.' I chuckled to myself at his lie and got my vloging camera out.

"So Dan and Phil have both fallen asleep. Phil has been asleep for like 6 hours this flight." I said . "I guarantee that Dan is tired because he was probably up until 4am on the internet." I said laughing. "I'll vlog more when we land." I said and turned my vloging camera off.

We finally arrived in sunny Orlando . I stepped off the plane and instantly felt the sun. 'I could get used to this' I thought as we walked down the steps and got in the bus to take us to the airport building. Dan and Phil sat down on the two remaining seats.

"Oh sorry Erin. You can sit on my knee if you want?" Dan said with the face in this picture  http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/35100000/Dan-dan-howell-35105658-500-500.jpg

I rolled my eyes and sat on my lap. Dan got his phone out and held it out in front of us three and took a selfie. I have to admit it was quite a cute picture. He put it on twitter 'Arrived in Orlando for Playlist @AmazingPhil @ErinCorby :)'  We arrived at the terminal building and quickly got our bags and left the airport a few fans stopped us and asked for pictures. We got in a taxi and I put my headphones in and tried to sleep.

"You are so obvious!" Phil said.

"What? why?" Dan said.

"'You can sit on my knee if you want.' Very subtle Dan." Phil said

"There was no other seats!" Dan said.

"You like her don't you?" Phil said

"What?! No. Don't be ridiculous." Dan said.

"I don't believe you." Said Phil.

So Dan doesn't like me in the way Phil means. I knew it. I am never liked back, it must be my fault because Dan is amazing. I'll just have to pretend I didn't hear anything. If he doesn't like me then he doesn't like me.

We got to the hotel and Dan tapped my arm

"Erin? We're here."

"Yay!" I said as we grabbed our bags and walked into the hotel.

"Hi guys!!" I heard voices shout. Zoe, Alfie, Marcus, Naomi, Joe, Troye, Tyler, Connor, Louis, Louise and last but not least Caspar were in the hotel lobby.

"Hi guys!" Dan and Phil said. I was hugged by everyone even though I hadn't met most of them before but we knew each other and I knew we were going to become friends. Then Caspar came up to me and hugged me tighter than the others.

"Nice to finally meet you!" Caspar said.

"Thank you, You too!" I said.

"Here let me help you with your bags." said Caspar picking up my bag with ease in one hand.

"Thank you, Caspar." I said. I got my room key and we went up in the elevator.

"Nice weather right?" I said.

"It's beautiful." Caspar said looking at me straight in the eyes.

I got to my room and unlocked the door. Caspar laid my bag down.

"We're going out for dinner later, do you want to come?" Caspar said with a hopeful smile.

"I would love to." I replied. Caspar opened the door to leave.

"Caspar?" I said stopping him.

"Yeah?" He said turning around.

"Thanks again for the help with my bag." I said.

"No problem." and with that he left.

Caspar's POV

I hope I didn't come across nervous. After all, first impressions count.
