9. Protective

Erin's POV

I went back to my hotel room to get ready for filming with Caspar. I touched up my makeup and got my MacBook, camera, phone and left my hotel room. I knocked on Caspar's hotel room and he answered with a grin on his face. He was wearing grey sweatpants and a blue t-shirt.

"Hey Erin!" Caspar said and pulled me into a hug.

"Hi, Caspar." I replied as we both walked into his hotel room.

"So I was thinking for my video I could do 'An exclusive interview with Erin Corby'?" Caspar said.

"Yeah that's sounds good and for mine could we do YouTube prank calls?" I said as we both sat on the end of Caspar's bed.

We filmed Caspar's video first. After about half an hour we had pretty much finished filming Caspar's video.

"Can we do the thumbnail?" Caspar asked.

"Yeah sure." I said.

Caspar leant his head on my shoulder and I just grinned at the camera like the thumbnail for his exclusive interview with Troye Sivan (Picture at the top of page.)

"Done!" Caspar yelled.

We decided to go and get a drink before filming my video. We walked to the outdoor bar and sat on the bar stools. We got our drinks and turned around to face the sea view.

"It's so nice here." I said sighing.

"It is. " Caspar replied. We soon finished our drinks and decided to go and film my video before it got too dark as we were relying on natural lighting.

"Hi everyone! Today I'm joined by the one and only Caspar Lee!" I said as Caspar grinned at the camera and put his arm around me.

"What are we doing today, Caspar?" I asked.

"PRANK CALLS!!!" Caspar yelled

"That's right!" I said and laughed. "Who do you want to ring first?" I asked Caspar.

"Joe?" Caspar asked.

"Sure." I said and I rang Joe's number.

"Hello?" I said

"Hi, Joe. What did you do?!" I asked fake yelling.

"What do you mean?!" asked Joe sounding worried.

"Well Caspar's round at my hotel room crying. apparently you were being a dick." I said nearly bursting out laughing.

"What the hell?! I haven't said anything to Caspar?" Joe said.

After teasing him for a bit longer about it and Caspar nearly crying from laughter in the corner.

"You're pranking me aren't you?" Joe asked. We couldn't hold in our laughter anymore.

"I knew it!  I was thinking 'I have hardly spoken to Caspar today.'" Joe  said starting to laugh.

"No one can prank the Sugg. He's just too good." I said laughing along with them. 

After calling a few more people we finished filming my video and my sides hurt from laughing. We decided the thumbnail for my video would be us holding our phones and laughing like mad.

I checked my phone and I had a missed call and 4 texts from Dan.

Erin, where are you?x

Are you okay?x

Erin, we don't know where you are, we're supposed to be meeting for dinner.

Everyone's asking where you are, just let me know you're okay x

I checked the time and we were half an hour late meeting everyone for dinner. I rang Dan to tell him sorry and that we will see them later.

D: Erin?  Hi. Are you okay?

E: Yeah, Dan I'm fine. I was filming with Caspar. Tell everyone we're sorry and we'll meet you back at the hotel later?

D: Okay bye.

Dan sounded annoyed at me I'll have to check when they get back.

"Well we've got at least 2 hours to kill." I said to Caspar.

"Do you wanna have our showers and you can come back here and we can hang out for a bit?" Caspar asked.

"Sounds good." I said as I took my things and went back to my own hotel room. I had a shower (I felt I needed to after being in the heat all day) and got changed into grey sleep shorts and a Fall Out Boy t-shirt. I decided to go down to the hotel shop and bought a pack of ready made popcorn and cookies (Why not?) and ran back to my room before anyone else could see me looing like a slob. I grabbed my laptop and phone and went to Caspar's room.

"It's open!" Caspar yelled from inside. I walked in and Caspar was lying on his bed topless with just his sweatpants.

"Hi, again." Caspar said looking up from his screen.

"Hi, Caspar. I brought snacks." I said then laughed as Caspar looked up instantly. I opened both the packets and Caspar quickly shoved his hand into the packet of popcorn and ate a mouthful. We ate all the junk food and answered emails (boring) and scrolled through our social media and we both started to edit our videos. Then we must have lost track of time because Joe walked in.

"Oh hi guys." He said.

"Hi Joe." I said. "Sorry we didn't come to dinner." I said

"It's okay, it happens. Alfie was running late anyway." Joe said. I nodded and picked my stuff up to leave.

"I'm gonna go. Bye Guys." I said Caspar stood up and gave me a hug. Joe smiled at me from across the room.

"See you, Erin." They both said. I left their hotel room and knocked on Belle's.

"Hi Erin! What happened to you tonight?" She asked smirking slightly as we walked in to he room.

"I was filming with Caspar and we lost track of time." I said truthfully.

"Ah right. " Belle said.

I looked at Belle's thick brown hair which she had braided beautifully.

"I'm so envious of your hair." I said.

"No way, I love yours." Belle said looking at my blonde hair. "Erin, you might want to find Dan, he looked upset tonight." Belle said. "After the phone call with you he told us you were with Caspar and stayed pretty much quiet for the rest of the night." Belle said.

"Really? I'm gonna go and find him now." I said. "Bye Belle." I said hugging her when Jack walked in as I was leaving their hotel room I saw Jack pull Belle into a hug and kiss her cheek. I sighed at the most adorable couple in the world and shut the door. I walked to Dan and Phil's hotel room and knocked on the door. Phil answered and smiled.

"Hey Erin." He said.

"Hi Phil. Is Dan here?" I asked.

"Yeah, come in." Phil said. I walked in and Dan was sat on his bed scrolling through his phone.

"Hi Dan." I said.

"Hi, Erin." Dan said looking up only for as split second.

"Can I speak to you for a sec?" I asked.

"Yeah." Dan said standing up and following me outside onto the hotel corridor.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine." Said Dan bluntly.

"Dan please what is it?" I pleaded. "You sent me messages worrying whether I was okay and now you're annoyed."

"It's only because I'm protective." Dan said and finally looked up from his shoes and eyes widened like he's let out a big secret the quickly went back into his room and shut the door. I have no idea what's up with him I think I need some Best friend Belle advice I told myself as I went back to her room.
