4. Stuck in the Middle (literally)

Erin's POV

I got changed into white casual dress. I put on white flats and put my hair into a fishtail braid. I did my makeup and texted Dan.

E: Is everyone ready to leave?:)

D: Yep, meet in the lobby in 5? :) x

E: Sure, see you soon x

I walked down the stairs to get to the lobby where everyone (Marcus, Naomi, Joe, Alfie, Zoe, Dan, Phil and Louise) but Caspar wasn't there.

"Joe, have you seen him?" Zoe asked.

"No. I told him what time we were meeting so he should be here." Joe said

"I'll go to his room and get him." Joe said.

Five minutes later Joe came back with Caspar.

"Caspar was fixing his hair." Joe said laughing at him. Caspar gave Joe a shove and we set off for dinner. We got to the restaurant and I was in the middle of Caspar and Dan. Caspar sat on my left side and Dan sat on my right.

"You don't normally spend that long on your hair." Joe whispered to Caspar (Joe was on the other side of Caspar.)

"That's because I'm not normally trying to impress someone." Caspar whispered back.

"I knew it! It's Erin isn't it?" Joe whispered not very quietly.

"Shut up, dude!" Caspar whisper/yelled back. Joe smirked triumphantly.

They didn't know that they were being a lot louder than they thought.

Caspar is trying to impress me? I doubt it I mean look at him then look at me. He's hot, popular with his friends and there's me. I don't really need to describe myself, you get the idea. Now when I turned to ask Joe about his 5 million subscriber success and Caspar was watching and listening I felt myself blushing.  When we'd all finished our meals we made a plan for the next day. Pool in the morning, lunch then beach in the afternoon. Dan, Phil and I were jetlagged from our flight so we went back to the hotel and the others went for a walk along the beach.

We got to the hotel and Phil went to the door of his and Dan's room

"Night, Erin." Phil said with a smile

"Night Phil." I said and he walked inside the hotel room leaving the door open for Dan.

"Goodnight, Erin." Dan said.

"Night, Dan." I replied. Dan hugged me tightly and pecked my check, pulled away smiled and went to his hotel room leaving me standing outside my hotel room blushing like an idiot. My sking tingled where his lips touched my cheek.

Dan's POV

Erin looked beautiful tonight. Like always. I really like her but I don't want Phil or anyone else to know because I know she doesn't like me back. Believe it or not I have felt heartbreak before and I don't want to experience it again. If I don't tell anyone I can pretend that my feelings for Erin don't strengthen everyday. It's going to be hard to be near her everyday and not show my feelings but I'll do what I have to do to keep my feelings hidden. After all, she doesn't like me back.
