10. The Love Guru

Belle's POV

I was cuddling on my bed with Jack when there was a knock at the door.

Jack sighed. "I'll get it." He said. I heard the door open and Jack invited whoever was there inside.

Erin walked in looking confused or sad.

"Hey, Erin, what's up?" I asked sitting up.

"I'm really sorry to bother you guys by the way." Erin said.

"Hey don't worry about it." Jack said putting is arm around her and leaving us to talk. "I'll go and find Finn."

"So what's bothering you?" I asked

"I need help from the Love Guru." Erin said laughing slightly.

Yeah I kinda get called that sometimes just because of my relationship with Jack.

"Okay." I said simply.

"I have feelings for Dan." Erin finally admitted. She looked like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. It is good to admit things to yourself as well as to your friends.

"Really? That's so cute!" I  said

"But." Erin hesitated.

"But what?" I said.

"I don't know. I kinda get the impression Caspar likes me because I heard him and Joe talking about it." Erin said.

"Oh, but do you like Caspar?" I asked.

"He's great, any girl would be lucky to have him and we get on really, really well but I just don't feel like we have that instant connection that me and Dan have that we an talk about anything and everything." Erin said

"Well, Caspar needs to know, you don't want to lead him on." I said truthfully. "You should also tell Dan how you feel."

"You're right about Caspar But I can't tell Dan." Erin said looking sad now.

"What, why?" I asked.

"Because I overheard him telling Phil he doesn't like me more than a friend. But my feelings just don't go away." Erin looked like she could almost cry now. I put my arm around her and told her I was sorry.

"You should ignore everything." I said randomly.

"I cant just ig-" Erin started but I interrupted her.

"No, I don't mean forever. I just mean until Playlist is over. You don't want to ruin it for yourself or the others and it will ruin your time if you have to see them both after awkwardness. Sort it out at home when the fans aren't around 24/7." I said

"Yeah you're right. But Dan was pretty mad at me and then said he was protective then slammed the door in my face." Erin continued.

"Erin, I'm sure it wasn't your fault he was mad. He gets mad at loads of things. Just remember what I said and try not to act un-natural because the fans notice everything and the last thing you want is them speculating." I said

"Thanks, Belle, The love Guru." Erin said and hugged me one more time before she left my hotel room. 

Erin's POV

I'm going to have to tell Caspar and I hope he's not too upset but I know he can find someone better than me. I will have to tell Dan how I feel after Playlist. Even though I know he doesn't like me back I feel like I can keep it from him much longer.  I went back to my hotel room and lay down on my bed thinking about the day when there was a knock at my door. I stood up and opened it to see Dan standing there looking slightly guilty.

"Hey, Dan." I said.

"Hi, Erin." Dan said.

"Come in." I said and we both walked into my room and sat down on the sofa.

"I'm sorry for leaving without an explanation and slamming the door in your face." Dan said.

"It's okay, I'm just worried about you." I said looking at my shoes.

"You don't need to be I'm fine. But I don't want us to ignore each other for the rest of Playlist so we're good?" Dan asked hopefully.

"Of course." I said and nodded my head. We both stood up and Dan quickly turned around and hugged me tightly, like REALLY tightly then smiled and left my room.

I have no idea what is going on with him, I thought but remember keep the feelings to yourself at least until the end of Playlist.
