We even tried snorkeling, and Kai—who’s usually so poised and dominant—screamed when a tiny fish brushed past his leg.
“Don’t judge me!” he shouted while splashing me. I laughed so hard that I nearly choked on my snorkel.
Later that night, we sat on the beach wrapped in a blanket, watching the ocean glow. He held my hand, fingers entwined, and kissed the back of it slowly.
“This... this is the kind of love people write books about,” he said softly.
He looked over at me, eyes soft. “Then let’s write our book one day. Just you and me.”.I said before kissing him gently.

On the next night, I surprised Oliver with a romantic dinner on a private floating platform lit by lanterns and stars.
He wore a flowy sheer white shirt and no shoes, and when he stepped onto the platform, I genuinely forgot how to breathe.
We sat close, toes touching in the water. He fed me little bites of grilled lobster and mango salad, smiling at me like he had a secret.
“What?” I asked between sips of wine.“Nothing. Just... you make me feel safe.”That hit something deep in my chest.“You are safe with me. Forever.”
