Malikai's pov

"Morning darling," I said, greeting my beautiful husband. "Morning," he said in his cute voice while cuddling his petite naked body to my muscular naked body. "How was your night?" I asked while caressing his cheeks and my other hand caressing his thighs .

"It was the best night ever, yours," he asked, smiling shyly. " Well, your pretty little ass made my night perfect," I said .

"Today is the day, huh?" I said to oliver. His ex dad was finally coming out of the hospital, and he's going to stay here for a few weeks so he can have people taking care of him.

"Yeah, I'm glad his okay, but..." he said before going silent. "But," I asked, ensuring that he would continue ." It's just.... agggh can we just speak about something else.

Oliver's childhood is a sensitive topic for him. He doesn't like speaking about it, and with everything that has happened to him, I completely understand him.

We had our usual morning pillow talk. We then got up to take a shower together. We didn't have sex in the shower cause I know my baby is most probably in pain from last night.

After kai left for work, I walked upstairs to get dressed. I wore an oversized jumper with flowers on it , a pair of baggy jeans and some really expensive sneakers.

I did my hair and makeup before spraying some lavender perfume. I walked downstairs to see Sidney and leah sitting on the couch. I had told them we would fetch my ex dad from the hospital so they were dressed and waiting for me.

"Are you ready? Can we go?" asked Sidney with her fake smile."Actually, I have to be somewhere , so a driver will accompany you. I'll meet you there, " I said before leaving.

Today was a confusing day for me. My feelings were so mixed up, and I just wanted to go to my room and cuddle with my man.

Im honestly happy that he's okay and healthy again. But at the same time, my dad has caused me so much pain that a small part in me wishes he had just died and left his wife and daughter in shambles.

I drove to my psychologists office and had a quick session with her. I wanted to get professional advice before proceeding because I know I will lash out if I dont.

After our short session, I made my way to the hospital. I arrived, and I signed in and then walked to his room. When I arrived, he was still wearing his shoes, but he looked overall ready.

"Ohh, oliver, you came," said my mom with that overly sweet smile of hers. Before they noticed me, they were laughing and talking like the perfect family they thought they were.

My dad turned around to look at me. He smiled at me."Oliver, thank you for coming, and most importantly, thank you for saving me," he said, walking towards me before giving me a hug.

"I just stood there feeling numb for a few seconds before pushing him away." I'll meet yoll at home," I said before leaving the room . I walked to my car, and before I knew it, I began crying.

I was just so weak. I pulled myself together and drove to the building kai is at today. I walked in and took the elevator straight to his office.

I didn't even knock. I just entered as his assistant chased behind me, telling me his in a meeting. I entered, and the moment I laid my eyes on him, I started crying. The old man he was in a meeting with turned to look at me in shock, but I didn't care.

Kai stood up and opened his arms to me. I ran into them and immediately started sobbing louder. I probably left some makeup on his shirt, but that was the least of my worries at that very moment.

The old man got the message and walked out after saying he'd be back when kai was free." I just wish I had just let him die. I wish I had left his wife and daughter in the streets, " I said while crying.

Malikai's pov

"You don't mean that, my angel," I said while trying to calm him down."Yes, I do. I mean it with every fiber of my being," he said, still crying.

I led him to the couch, and he straddled me. He put his head on my chest . He slowly came down until he was eventually just hiccuping .

Every time I saw the pain and hurt in Oliver's eyes, I got angry at the person who caused it. He doesn't deserve this .

"Would you like some water?" I asked softly but got no answer. I looked down to see that he was sleeping. I layed him down on my comfortable couch and gave him a blanket and soft pillow.

I sat at my desk and watched him while I occasionally worked. Oliver was the most drop-dead gorgeous person I've ever seen. His beautiful heart and personality were the cherry on top.

Around 3, he woke up . He stretched his arms while his natural pouted lips released a sound of satisfaction at the sound his bones made.

He went to the bathroom to freshen up before coming to sit on my lap." Is sleeping beauty finally awake?" I asked while kissing his pink cheeks."ummmhmmm," he hummed as he innocently cuddled up to me.

We drove home and when we arrived olivers " ex " family was sitting on our couch laughing and talking about what ever the fuck they were talking about.

"Ohhh hiii" said leah as she turned to oliver and I. Oliver and I ignored them before walking upstairs. We went into our room and took a relaxing bath after ordering olivers favorite for dinner.
