Both rose and wonyoung walked inside the spacious ladies' room of the hall reserved for the soon-to-be bride.
Both nayeon and Lisa, earlier engulfed in their chatter turned towards the girls.
"You look gorge babe!", rose complemented Nayeon who flipped her cherry red hair pridefully.
About to get closer in excitement, rose unknowingly stepped over her huge lilac gown making Nayeon immediately stand up.
"Oh god!", Lisa gasped.
"Are you stupid rose! That'll leave a mark!", nayeon immediately ran to the restroom while rose mumbled apologies at her back.
While leaving Nayeon stopped near wonyoung narrowing her gaze at the latter.
Wonyoung rolled her eyes.
"Yeah it's me. Congratulations.", she monotonously said. Stretching one side of her lips, Nayeon huffed expectedly.
"I knew you'll be back. Thanks anyways.", she went away making wonyoung sharply inhale.
About to go meet Lisa, wonyoung stopped as her phone suddenly ringed. Watching her mom's number she immediately picked up.
"Hello? Eomma?"
"Wony....", her mother sweetly called her name making her smile.
Wonyoung belonged to a middle class family. She had a younger brother who was still studying while her father worked at a small factory. Her mother on the other hand was a house wife. In the past when they were not financially strong, they still stayed strong together. Even now when wonyoung is the bread earner of the family, they respect her for her contributions and take good care of her.
"Yes eomma."
"Your aunt mey called me today. She told me about this boy in Canada. A good looking educated guy with a strong family background....."
"I told you I don't want to marry eomma! Did you call me just to tell this?!", she screamed frustrated.
She came all the way here to Nayeon's engagement just to escape Taehyung's thoughts and their potential break-up. Yet her mother's words brought back her anxiety.
