Chapter 6

Harleens POV

I stared at Hayes. He stared back. "What are you doing here and why do you not have a shirt on?" I asked. "First of all-I live here,Second of all-being shirtless is a habit" he said. "Now it's my turn to ask questions" he stated smirking.

"Why are you in my house?" He asked

"Because I'm babysitting Skylynn"

He looked at me. Then understanding swept over his face.

"Now that your here let's hang out" He said. I stared at him. I nodded. He came and sat next to me. I mean like right next to me. I scooted over a bit. We started talking and then didn't stop. We talked for hours and only stopped when I had to Skylynn to bed. After that I came back and sat down. Talking to Hayes was natural. I felt like I knew him since forever. "Let's watch a movie" he suggested. I agreed and we decided on Jurassic Park. It was my favorite movie of all time. We started it and Hayes kept pointing out mistakes and making me laugh. About halfway through the movie he asked me for my number. We exchanged numbers then his mom came home. Elizabeth thanked me and I got up to leave. Before I walked out the door Hayes said "text me" and I nodded. I walked back home and went up to my room. While we were talking I learned that Hayes and I were going to the same school and that his dad coached the football team. I smiled at the thought of him and went to go wash my face. After I was done I walked over and plopped on my bed. I started to scroll through my instagram when I got a text from Hayes saying "look up". I looked up and he was there. I mean like I could see him sitting on his bed through the window. He smiled and waved like a little kid. I waved back. I texted him goodnight and made sure I closed my curtains before I went to sleep.

I woke up to a text from Hayes.

Wanna hang out? He texted

Sure. I texted back

Meet you outside in an hour:) he said.

K:) I texted. Then I got up and started to get ready.
