Chapter 11

Harleens POV

Hayes,Nash and I all got in the car to head to the gym. I had changed in to basketball shorts and was ready to kick Ass. When we entered the gym all the boys were already there. I stepped on the gyms shiny floor and heard my Jordans squeak. All the boys turned around. One boy with chocolate brown hair and a very muscular body said " this is her? Harleen? The one that Hayes won't ever shut up about?" I looked him right in the eyes and said " Yah it's me and of course he talks about me I'm worth talking about" I said smirking. The boy raised his eyebrows then looked at Hayes "Good choice Hayes I like this one" he said. Hayes's cheeks went red again and he didn't even bother saying anything. Nash told me his name was Cameron. He introduced me to all of the boys and we got started. It was me versus Hayes first. I grabbed the ball and dribbled a few times then I faked a jab and drove to the basket. We were keeping first one to score so it wouldn't take to long. I was KILLING.But so was Jack Gilinsky. He was a tall lean guy with a wide smile and brown hair. His jawline was defined. In the end it was me versus him. He looked at me smirking. The rest of the boys were taking sides. I saw Taylor and Hayes making bets. "How old are you?" asked Jack. "14" I answered. "Well I guess that ain't fair" he said. "If I'm fine with it so are you!" I said. "Damnnnnn Hayes thus ones a good choice!" He said grinning. I grabbed the ball and pushed into his chest "get on with it" I said. He dribbled and tried to pull an inside out move on me but I caught it and smacked the ball away. I brought it back to the 3-point line and started dribbling. Jack was really good. He was better than all the guys and his defensive stance was almost perfect. The flaw was that his knees weren't bent enough giving me a tiny speed advantage. I drove the ball to the net and went up for a reverse lay-up. Swish. When I heard the familiar sound I broke into a smile. I turned around. I made fist, then pounded it against my chest and put my arm up pointing my index finger to the sky. Hayes smiled realizing that I was doing the Stephen Curry celebration. Jack rolled his eyes then grinned. I walked up to him and shook his hand "Good game" I said. He hugged me and said " Off the court opponents are good friends so don't shake my hand just hug me" he said winking. I looked at Taylor and Hayes "10 bucks boy pay up!" Said Hayes. A look of frustration swept over Taylor's face and he reluctantly took out a 10 dollar bill and handed it over. Hayes walked up to me "can I talk to you for a sec?" He said with a serious look. I was a bit nervous. "Uh Yah sure" I said.

"So do you want me to sugar coat it or just throw it at you?" He said

"Just throw it at me"

"The boys and I are famous"

"F-famous? How famous?"

"Like 2 million-followers-on-vine-famous"

I grinned. "2 million that's it?" I said.

"Wait so your not mad?"

"What of course not!"

"Well would you be if I told you that I posted a video of you playing basketball and all my fans think your crazy good and you just might be famous too?" He said smiling weakly.

I stared at him in disbelief. "What really?". Hayes nodded. I broke into a smile. I got up and hugged him. "Oh my gosh Hayes thank you so much! This is the first time I've been recognized." I said. He smiled out of relief. He opened his mouth to say something but Taylor and the Jacks (Jack Gilinsky and Jack Johnson) asked for pictures on instagram. Jack.J's Sandy brown hair flopped as he walked and his brown eyes stared at me. I took the the pictures and they thanked me. I was getting tired and I also wanted to go take a shower so I asked Nash if he could take me home. He went to grab Hayes and we left the gym. I looked back over the day. It was probably one of the best I had ever had.
