"Excuse me ma'am we're landing in 2 minutes" I heard the attendant say. I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed the sleep out of them. I looked at my dad but he was looking away. This was it. North Carolina. This was the place I would call home from now on. I was shaken out of my thoughts when I felt the wheels of the plane hit the ground. When it finally came to a stop my dad and I started walking down the aisle. We got our suitcases and then rode a taxi to our new home. The driver pulled in to the driveway of a beautiful home. It was 3 storeys high and was painted a light shade of pink. I ran out of the taxi and took the keys from my dad. I opened up the door and ran into the house. It. Was. Gorgeous. The walls were light brown and blue and the counter was black granite and the stainless steel fridge was shining. I admit I was kinda happy. I ran up into the room that J would soon call mine. The best and everything was already set up. I ran back downstairs and hugged my dad. He smiled and said "Its only 8am so let's unpack and set everything up then we will be free tomorrow". I nodded and we started to unpack.

By the time we were done it was 5pm and house looked even more gorgeous than before. I was just about to sit down when the doorbell rang. I looked at my dad he was asleep on the couch so I went to answer the door. I opened up and saw a cute little girl and a pretty woman standing there. "Hi we saw you move in so I made some cookies" she said "Oh I forgot to tell you my name's Elizabeth" I couldn't help but noticing the southern accent. I looked at the little girl "Thank you, my name's Harleen and who's this beautiful girl?" I said smiling. "My names Skylynn" she said. Elizabeth looked at me " do you babysit?" She asked. I nodded. "That's great, could baby sit Skylynn tomorrow?" She asked. "Of course what time?" I said. "Come by at 6 if you can" she replied. I nodded and thanked her again as she left. I went back inside and didn't bother eating I was so tired I went to my room and crashed.
