Harleens POV
I watched my dad put the cardboard boxes in to the moving truck. We were moving to North Carolina tomorrow because my dad said everything was cheaper there and it would support us more financially. I turned around and walked up to my room. I changed into some sweats , a baggy t-shirt and put my hair up in to a bun. I went down the stairs and grabbed my basketball. I put on my shoes and started walking towards the community gym. I moved the ball around in my hands and ran my hand over the edges liking the rough feel of the grip. I walked in to the gym and dribbled the ball around for a bit then did some shooting. I stayed there for a good 2 hours or so and by the time I was done I was a sweaty mess. I walked back home to my dad packing our clothes. He looked at me with an irritated expression on his face. "Harleen where were you?" He asked.
"I was playing Basketball"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want to!" I said frustration bubbling up in me for no apprent reason.
"Don't give me attitude Harleen!" My dad's voice was rising.
I turned around and stormed away to my room. I sat down on my bed and wept. I heard my dad calling me for dinner but I ignored him, pulled the blankets over my head and fell into a dream less sleep.
Hey guys!! I'm sorry if this sucks but I hope it's getting better and if not then just Comment and I'll try xoxo- Harleen
