He looked at them laughing and holding hands. Happiness. Happiness he never experienced. The one girl he loved hurt him. Years ago she had cheated on him. She had hurt him. He didn't get the happiness he deserved. They weren't allowed either. He looked at them playing and laughing enjoying each others company. Hatred and jealousy burned though him. It wasn't fair. They were happy. They haven't gone through my pain. Now they will.

Being a cop wasn't that easy. Long days of depressing work. Longer weeks of nasty gory little details. That made me even more determined to catch this one. As far as I knew he was killing because he could. Or he was killing because he was unhappy. There it was again. Confusion. We made so many guesses but still nothing that clicked. The worst part-the public didn't yet know that a serial killer walked among them.
