A U T H O R
Nikshant froze on the spot—utterly still, like the world had stopped spinning.
His eyes widened as he stared at Aaravi, her words echoing in his mind, refusing to settle. His breath hitched, heart thudding wildly in his chest, caught somewhere between disbelief and a sudden, overwhelming rush of emotion.
Aaravi didn't look away. Her eyes were locked on his, steady and sure, shimmering with a mix of longing and boldness.
Without hesitation, she stepped closer and grabbed the collar of his sherwani, pulling him gently but firmly toward her. Her breath mingled with his as she leaned in, stopping just an inch away from his lips. Close enough to feel the tension. Close enough to hear his heartbeat racing.
Everything around them faded—the noise, the lights, the world. Only this moment remained.
Her eyes flickered down, lingering on his lips, before returning to meet his stunned gaze.
Her voice was barely a whisper.
"Kiss me, Nikshant."
And in the next moment, Nikshant's lips found hers.
The kiss was deep and consuming, filled with everything he hadn't yet said in words. He moved slowly at first, as if savoring her—his lips molding against hers with deliberate care, drawing her in, piece by piece.
Aaravi's hands reached up, fingers tangling in his hair as a soft sigh escaped her. She pressed closer, her body melting into his as though she'd been waiting for this moment all her life.
Nikshant's grip around her waist tightened, pulling her even closer. His mouth grew bolder, he gently bit her lower lip, a teasing edge to his passion. Aaravi gasped, startled by the jolt of sensation, and her lips parted.
Taking the opening, his tongue slipped into her mouth, exploring her slowly—like a man who wasn't in a rush, who wanted to memorise the way she tasted, the way she responded to his every movement. Their tongues met in a rhythm that felt intimate, breathless, and impossibly right.
"Mmm... Nikshant..."
A soft moan escaped from Aaravi as he deepened the kiss, his lips closing over hers again, this time with more intensity -sucking gently, tenderly, until her knees nearly gave way.
Nikshant's hands slid firmly around Aaravi's waist as he gently pressed her back against the nearby wall. The air between them was thick with tension-desire woven into every breath, every touch.
Their lips met again, this time with less hesitation and more hunger. The kiss deepened quickly, their mouths moving in perfect sync, like two people who had waited far too long for this exact moment.
Aaravi's hands gripped his shoulders, and a soft gasp left her lips as the kiss grew more demanding. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, her breath catching. When it became too much, she lightly tapped his shoulder, trying to steady herself.
Nikshant broke away from her lips, his own breath uneven, but the fire in his eyes hadn't dimmed. Instead, he trailed his mouth down to her neck, his lips finding the delicate skin there with a tenderness that made her shiver.
He kissed her slowly, deliberately, letting each press of his lips build anticipation. Then, without warning, he gently bit her neck—just enough to make her inhale sharply, her head falling back against the wall.
"Aaahhhh... ummm..." The moan slipped from her mouth, raw and breathless.
Nikshant growled low in his throat, the sound reverberating against her skin.
