A A R A V I
Blissful life—that's all I can say. A life filled with love... a family I never thought I'd have. A husband who makes my heart full, a brother who guards me like a shadow, friends who became my pillars.
I once believed such a life wasn't meant for me.
After all, life is unpredictable.
There was a time I said I didn't want to marry him. But I did. Not once... but twice.
Our journey wasn't easy. It was hard. Painful. But it was also beautiful.
We came a long way— From pain to peace, from strangers to soulmates.
"What are you thinking, wifey?"
Nikshant's arms wrapped around me from behind, his presence instantly calming. He kissed the back of my head, warm and gentle, as his hands settled around my waist.
I smiled, lacing my fingers over his. "Nothing... just thinking. We've come a long way, haven't we?" I tilted my head slightly, trying to catch a glimpse of his face.
He nodded, a soft smile curving his lips. "Yeah... and this journey with you—it's been beautiful. I don't ever want it to end."
He rested his chin on my shoulder, and we looked at each other, a quiet understanding passing between us.
"Nikshant?" I whispered.
"Haan?" he responded softly.
"Promise me... we'll always be like this?"
He didn't hesitate. "We'll always be like this, Aaravi. Me... loving you, endlessly."
A gentle smile rose on my lips.
"I love you," I murmured.
"I love you so much, there aren't enough words for it," he replied, his voice warm and sincere.
He leaned in closer, his voice turning low and teasing. "We should enjoy our honeymoon... instead of just lying here. Or... maybe do what most couples do on theirs."
His lips brushed my ear as he spoke, sending a quiet shiver down my spine.
"Shut up!" I blushed, lightly slapping his hand. "You're becoming shameless these days."
He chuckled, tightening his arms around me. "I'm just joking, woman! Why are you always hitting me?"
"Because your jokes are getting worse," I said, trying not to smile
He raised an eyebrow with a smirk in his face."But the deed isn't a bad idea. We could burn some calories... in the most sinful way."
"Ugghhhh! You're impossible," I muttered, hiding my face in his chest as he laughed and held me tighter.
"Why are you feeling shy, babe? It's not like we haven't done those 'deeds' before," he laughed, pulling me closer to him.
"Nikshant! Taang mat kijiye, aur chhodiye mujhe... uthne dijiye," I muttered, still hiding my face in his chest.
(Don't tease me, and let me go, let me get up.)
"I'm not holding you," he said innocently. "You're the one holding on to me."
I peeked up at him—his hands were raised in mock surrender, and that signature smirk was painted across his face.
Pouting, I leaned in and gave his chest a playful bite before sitting up on the bed.
