Rough starts

Annie's POV

Second day of school, all the stupid hype of the first day was gone, I silently walked through the halls, minding my own business, when my eyes caught the silhouette of Eren. He saw me too, as he smiled and waved hi at me. I walked up to him, and realized he was with two other people, the same girl that glared at me yesterday, and a blonde guy that I haven't seen before.

-Hey Annie, how are ya'?- He asked, turning his gaze at me. I noticed the girl was staring at me, probably stabbing knives on me.

-I'm cool, and you?- I replied, placing my hands inside the pockets of my hoodie, it wasn't the same as yesterday, this time my hoodie was grey-ish blue, jeans short, and still with the same hairstyle. Never in hell I would change it, no matter what others said.

-Cool like ice, by the way, these are my two best friends, Mikasa and Armin- Eren presented them to me, Armin, the blonde boy, shook hands with me, smiling, but the girl, Mikasa, just glared. I was nowhere near intimidated, she seemed extremely protective of him, she's probably his sister or something.

-I wanted to ask you something, I would really love to do what we did yesterday- If I didn't know what he was talking about, this would have been really awkward. I was amused at Mikasa and Armin's reaction, they both blushed deeply and looked at him, bug eyed and shocked.

-Oh! You mean that thing? That I did to you yesterday?- Eren nodded, I seriously loved the faces on the other two, despite the fact that I wasn't showing any emotion, his question actually made me happy, not everyone wishes to train with me.

-Yeah, so do you think you could teach me that technique?- He gave me puppy eyes, pleading to be taught. I nodded, and he went to hug me again, but he must have remembered what happened yesterday, since he stopped.

After sorting out where we would practice, the gym, in case you were wondering, we both walked away to our respective classes. The day continued like normal, it went off very quickly, I gotta say, I walked towards the lockers of the gym, and changed into something more fit. When I walked out, I met with Eren, who also changed into something better for practicing.

-You ready, Jaeger?- I asked, putting my fists up, and taking a step back with my right foot. I was standing in my signature fighting pose.

-I won't hold back, it's up!- Eren launched himself towards me, I used his own weight against him, as I kicked his left leg, making him fall to the ground, and I heard him yelp a bit from the pain.

-F-Fuuu...- He muttered, if looks could kill, I would have a sword going trough my head, with that glare Mikasa was giving me, I bet a bullet trough my heart too.

-You're stronger than I expected...- He complimented me, a smirk across his face as he tried to stand up on his feet again, but to no avail.

-I'm not as strong as you think, Eren- I started to speak, I made a small pause before continuing.

-Then why are you still standing? While I'm in pain on the ground?- He cut me off before I could go on, I offered him a hand, and helped him stand up.

-Because while I do not possess as much strength as you, I do have technique. You didn't stop, and that made the hit even stronger- Eren seemed like he started to understand, so I think he can let me continue explaining. I knew the best way to make him learn, was showing him again.

I ''launched'' a punch towards him, he tried to evade it but before he knew, I had my arm wrapped around his neck, my left hand gripping to my right wrist, with my right leg I lifted his feet off the ground, and pushed him down once again, using both his weight and my own this time.

-A-Annie, I give up... Can you hear me?...- He starts to mutter, I try not to choke him a lot, but still hold him down as best as I can. 

-Give up? I don't need you to give up, I need you to learn...How to use your strength... And how to talk with girls- I wasn't going to let him go yet, but then Mikasa appears in front of us, she picks up a punching bag, and tosses it at us. I manage to let go of Eren in time, the bag crashes down on him, and I landed a few steps back from him.

-Why don't you go ahead, and teach me those moves as well?...- I hear the anger in her voice, one could practically feel the dark aura around her. I looked back, and saw Eren trying to get up, while behind Mikasa, there stood a crowd. From all of them, I could recognize that horse-face guy, I think he was called Jean, who I suppose is his best friend, Marco, and the two goofs, Sasha and Connie.

-Well, you see Mikasa, these moves were made for humans, but... I'm curious to see how they work on a savage beast- I saw how more people started to gather up, it was almost our whole class, in the back, I saw my two brothers, I wonder how they even got here.

Mikasa felt insulted, I could read trough every single of her emotions, resentment, jealousy, she didn't like the mere fact that Eren wanted to spend time with me, but that's a choice he made. And my choice, is to prove her wrong. 

I'm in my fighting stance, but Mikasa simply starts walking towards me. I don't plan on fighting her, too much effort for something so insignificant, so the moment she throws the first hit, I evade it, I wrap my legs around her neck, and knock her down. It didn't take me another second, I let her go, and stand up from the ground.

After that, Eren and I continued to practice without any interruption, but I think that today I gained enemies, guess I won't be as invisible as I initially planed, after all.
