Anniversary

Annie's POV

It's been nearly five months since I started dating Eren, I'm not one to celebrate anniversaries of months and such things, but I do want to give him something today. Good thing my first class is his first class too, I met him at the entrance of the building, he waved hi at me, a smile across his face.

The school bell ringed, and we started to walk towards the classroom, besides Eren was Armin and Mikasa, I took that chance, keeping a straight face, and let my hand take Eren's, he was shocked at first, he looked at me for a second, his eyes wide open, a light pink blush creeping up his cheeks, I don't know if someone else noticed, it's not like I cared anyway, I looked back, and nodded softly.

I have thought about it for a while, Eren's been very supportive of me, of the fact that I didn't want our relationship to be ''public'' in a way of saying so, but I think... I'm ready, for a second our gazes lock together, he let me know with just one glare, that he was ready too. 

Once the classes finished for today, I saw Eren waiting for me in the entrance, behind me was Mina, she knew about my relationship with him, she's the only one I told. Next to Eren was Mikasa, who, as always, looked at me with slight despise, and Armin, who waved at me, the tips of his lips curving up to his pink cheeks, in a soft smile. Well, he won me in femininity this time.

-Eren told us you had something to tell us- Mikasa spoke up, I nodded and Eren walked up to my side, he placed a hand on my shoulder, I opened my mouth to speak but before I could say the first word, Jean and Marco butted in our conversation.

-Uh... Mikasa? Could I talk to you for a second?- Jean asked her, she shook her head, crossing her arm under her chest and not even looking at him, well, it's not like we don't know what he's gonna ask her after all, and I'm pretty sure we know what her answer will be to his date proposal.

-Well, as I was going to say- Before I could continue, it was Sasha, Connie, Ymir and her beloved Historia's turn to get inside without invitation.

-Another failed attempt at asking out Mikasa? Not a big surprise- The tanned, freckled female mocked horse-face, a smirk across her face and her arm around the petite, perfect looking blonde girl. Sasha and Connie snickered, I sighed and shook my head a bit.

-Guys, this was kinda of a private conversation so if you could-

-No, it's alright. They're our friends too, right? They should know too- I cut him off, Eren was a bit surprised by this, but he nodded, and our gazes returned to the group in front of us.

-What the hell are you two talking about?- Jean asked, raising an eyebrow, I send him a scary glare, and he slightly hid behind Marco, poor guy must deal with him everyday, but best friends to that, I assume.

-We're dating- Their faces stood in blank, with the exception of Connie and Sasha's, and also Mina, who were the ones who knew by now. Jean had a bit of a rough time trying to process it, Armin smiled at us, and at Eren overall, Mikasa was still a bit in shock, but she recovered rather quickly.

-I knew it, called it- Ymir was the first one to speak, she tucked her hands inside her pockets and smirked, Historia stood besides her and their hands joined together, both of them walking away. After they all ''recovered'' from the shock, Jean was the first to mock Eren about this, telling him he was a ''suicidal bastard'' for dating the most ripped girl in the whole school, not that I deny it, and as usual, they started their playful bickering.

-Well, I gotta go, my brothers are waiting for me over there- I pointed towards the white Volkswagen Gol parked feet away from us, Eren and I kissed for a brief moment before I walked away from there, and hopping inside the car.

-So he's the lucky guy?- Reiner asked, he smiled at me, and I took advantage that he was on the front right seat and I was on the back to push his seat forward, crushing him a bit with my strength.

-After all these years, you still can't understand she's stronger than you- Bert said, smiling at both of us as Reiner blushed for his bad choice of words, he was right after all, it's nice to see college hasn't changed them at all. Now that our relationship was ''officially official'' as some would say, it actually took a weight of my shoulder. I couldn't help but smile to myself as I looked at the sunset through the car's window, maybe all this time, relationships aren't as bad as I thought.
