Chapter Thirteen

Devin's POV

I may have been a little harsh just breaking up with her like that, but I have even bigger problems...

My best friend is going to be a father...

I went over to Daniel's house after school with Kevin. That boy needs to learn how to drive.

"Did you not learn anything during those long lectures in Sunday school about sex before marriage? " I said socking Daniel in the head with my elbow.

"You were always hard headed."

"Apparently not since now my girlfriend has a fetus where food should be." He said.

"You do know babies don't grow in the stomach... right?" Kevin asked and I bursted out laughing. It wasn't even that funny but I haven't laughed in a while.

"No shiz...I look stupid to you?" he asked in sarcasm.

"Asks the 18 year old with a pregnant girlfriend." Kevin said

"Was she yummy Danny boy?" He continued teasing.

"Yo...Shut the hell up Kevin." Daniel responded about to.. I don't even know.

"Alright alright. Guys. Juliana is already pregnant. Don't cry over spilled milk." I said starting to get annoyed.

"The problem is that school basically just started and it takes like 9 months to have a baby. By the way...how's Nicole coping with being a grandmother soon?" I asked remembering he didn't tell us how his parents reacted.

"Well, considering we're pregnant before my sister... not so well."

"I can't even imagine considering Momma Debb cursed you out and you aren't even her son." I said.

"She used words I've never heard before, " Kevin added. "They sounded like Jamaican bad words haha."

"But Juliana is having the baby right?" I asked. Abortions are bad, but they would fix this problem. No babies life is worth ending, even before it starts tho.

"Yea she's having it. Abortions are against her religion. " Daniel said while he got a pack of candy some fans got us.

"So is fornication. " Kevin mumbled.

The door bell rang.

"I'll get it." Kevin said.

"I don't know if I should feel sorry for you or..."

"I get it. It's gucci." He said.

"Daniel! You have a visitor." Kevin came back saying. Behind him was Genesis... Daniel's ex.

"Gen-e-sis...? What are you doing here?" He stumbled to say.

They broke up when she moved to Arizona. They were mad tight...and she comes back after he bangs someone else...

"I'm on tour and I got a break, so I stopped here," She said. "Seems like only Kev is happy to see me."

"No no! I'm just shocked. It's great to see you again." He said and hugged her while mouthing what the hell to us.

"Hey Dookie." She said and hugged me. People have been calling me Dookie ever since Sam changed my name on IG.

"Ay baby Genny. I guess your rapping career is pretty litt now." I said.

"Yea. My first tour! I realized I was coming home basically and wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't stop here. So how have y'all been? What's new?" She asked.
