Recap

Someone's phone rang. It was Daniel's.

"I gotta get this. Hey baby..."

He walked out of the room and went into another.

And then there were two.

Me and Devin sat on an already pulled up bed. I personally think we should pull it up more. If you know what I mean.

I started playing with my fingers again. Devin looked at me.

"Nah for real. That makes me nervous please stop."

"Oh, my bad."I said.

He smiled slightly and got off the bed.

"When I woke up, it was here." He pointed to a part of his matress.

"The only place it could come through was the window, but security cameras show nothing of a break in. It's like it came through a portal or something."

"It legit came out of no where. "

I looked around the window and found a piece of a diamond. It must have been fake since diamonds are so hard to break. I picked it up and I remembered where I've seen a diamond like this one before. The only place. My mirror.

-

"Maddie? You good?" He asked coming closer to me by the window.

"Oh, Yea it's just...that's impossible. There has to be a logical explanation."
It can't be.

"Well, are you sure the picture was on your dresser before you left to Vanessa's? If not then maybe it got in my bag at school some how."

"Even that sounds impossible. Why would I bring such a picture to school?" Then I remembered when I walked into school that day and a bunch of people were staring at me.

He seemed to have sense my curious thoughts.

"You seem uneasy. What's bugging you? Tell me."

He held me, grabbing one shoulder per hand. His hands slid down from my shoulder to my elbows. In this position, he had complete control over me.

"Did you...show anyone the picture? " I stumbled to ask.

"Ofcourse not. Kevin saw it and took it from me and showed a few people, then he gave it back once I told him it was you."

He looked me directly in the eye, letting me know he was telling the truth.

"That bastard." I laughed slightly, once I realized I was getting in my feelings for nothing serious.

"So what if anyone saw it anyways. It's a cute picture. " he said. He moved closer to the bed with me still paralyzed in his arms.

"If Kevin didn't know, how'd you know it was me?" I asked.

He switched his grip from my elbows to my waist.

"I can recognize your cute self anywhere."

Is this real? Is he drunk? Did I accidentally slip him some ecstasy? Doesn't matter...I'll let it happen.

I was lost for words. He didn't say anything else either. But, actions speak way louder than words.

With his hands on my waist, he pulled me in closer, our pelvises touching and he used his knee to turn my hip and switched me onto the bed. He leaned over me and got so close I could feel his breath and smell what he ate for breakfast lunch and dinner.

"If I kiss you here we won't crash right?" He whispered in my ear with a smirk .

It took me a while but I realized he was referring to when I thought he would kiss me in the car.

This was it...the kiss...my first one...ever.

His lips needed not even a millimeter to touch mine. It happened so slowly but it was perfect. I could feel every second of the moment.

He stopped and looked at me.

"Madison Rochester, will you go out with me?" He asked.

"Might as well." I said, and I got so into the moment that I grabbed his face and kissed him even more.

We kissed for a while, I lost track of time.

"Oh shi-"

"Daniel!" I saw him with my peripheral vision and got up from under Devin. He looked beat.

"We were just kissing, nothing more."

Denin tried to explain.

"Lucky you." Daniel mumbled and walked away. I heard the door slam, so I assume he left.

"He knows we weren't doing anything more right?" I asked Devin, hoping Daniel wouldn't think bad of us.

"It has nothing to do with us," Devin said while looking through the door Daniel left. "It's whoever he was on the phone with."

I looked up at Devin. I completely forgot Daniel left when he got a call. Who was he on the phone with? What the he'll was the conversation about?
