I stood to the side as I watched Angel prepare to unseal Gojo from the back of the prison realm. Inumaki stood on a higher ground to signal when Angel is going to unseal it.

"SALMON!!"

A bright light came out and I shielded my eyes from the brightness, "Did it work??"

"Sensei!! Is it okay if we go look?" Yuji asked.

We waited until the light and smoke disappeared but there was nothing there. Gojo wasn't there and the back of the prison realm was gone.

"Where is Gojo?" I asked

We all looked over to Kurusu for an explanation.

"Maybe he was evil or something?" Kurusu asked, "It isn't my fault.

"She's defending herself," Yuji said, deadpanning.

"Gojo is sketchy tho," Shoko thought.

"You might be right," I agreed.

Then the ground began to shake violently.

"An earthquake?!"

"This can't be a coincidence!" Yuji said.

"Gojo caused an earthquake?"

"Maybe he got released somewhere else," I suggested, being hopeful.

"Maybe," Yuji agreed.

---

Gojo had indeed been released somewhere else, because he had appeared out of nowhere after a few minutes. I was sitting outside alone while the others headed back inside.

"Y/n~!!!" Gojo came running towards me and swung an arm around my shoulder.

"Gojo??"

"That's me!" he grinned, "Took you long enough to get me outta there."

I stared at him in disbelief. "Where the hell did you come from?!"

"Apparantly I was released 8,000 meters underwater in the deepest area of the Japan trench and met by Kenjaku and Megumi, who's now Sukuna," Gojo explained.

I smiled, "Well, I'm glad you're back now."

After Gojo had announced to the others that he was back, we went to Shoko who was in the room that Kurusu had been treated at with Ijichi. Gojo sat down on the bench and we stood around him.

"So it's just four of us now, huh?" Gojo asked, sighing.

"Well, there's one who isn't fully recovered yet," Shoko said, smoking her cigarette. I couldn't help but look down sadly.

"Yeah, I thought Nanami was the type to survive no matter what," Gojo said.

"I'm sorry," Ijichi said.

"What are you sorry for?" Gojo asked.

"I thought you were implying why did he die and not me?" Ijichi asked, confused.

"Is that your opinion of me now?!" Gojo asked in offence, "You still have a big job to do so stay sharp."

"So when's the fight?" I asked, facing Gojo again.

"December 24th."

After everyone started heading off, Gojo stayed on the bench, elbows resting on his knees. I sat down next to him.

"So, how have you been?" I asked, swinging my legs on the bench.

He glanced over at me, "Never been better, you?"

"Fine," I replied simply.

He grinned. "Missed me?"

"I guess. It was...kind of weird when you were gone."

"So boring," he laughed. Then after a pause, he added, "I'm glad I saw you first, though."

"Why?"

He shrugged. "Dunno. Just feels right."

I looked away to hide my smile. "Whatever, weirdo...Are you ready for the fight with Sukuna?"

"Of course," Gojo said with a grin.

Although Gojo seemed confident, from what Sukuna had done to many in Shibuya that night, I couldn't help but be scared.

He better not die on us.
