The rooftop door burst open as I crashed through it, but still, I landed on my feet.

"L/n?!" both Megumi and Yuji shouted, turning toward me in shock.

I looked up at them. Hakari walked out through the ruined door.

"I'll handle this!" I called out to the others.

"You're underestimating me," Hakari said coldly.

He swung again, but I ducked under it.

"These kids want your help!! Listen to what they have to say!!"

"Why me? This is the first time we've met, is it not? Why'd you come to me for help?" Hakari asked. 

"Because one of the students said you're strong," I explained.

He paused, then smirked a little. "That's what I thought."

I thought he was going to stop fighting but turns out, I was wrong. Without warning, he rushed forward for another punch. I pushed off the ground and jumped back, creating some distance between us. 

Yuji suddenly leapt down from the ledge, landing between me and Hakari.

Hakari's eyes locked onto him. "When one sorcerer asks another for help," he shouted, voice echoing across the rooftop, "it's basically asking 'please risk your life with me.'"

He stepped closer to Yuji, "You need to convey a fever worthy of making me risk my life!! Right here, right now!!"

Yuji stood his ground. "Then I'll say it straight-"

 Hakari's fist flew forward and slammed into Yuji's face.

"Yuji!!" I called out. 

He staggered back and I caught him with my arms. 

"That's enough," I said.

Hakari smirked. "Stings, doesn't it? According to Gojo-san, my cursed energy is rougher than other people's."

Yuji wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and stood upright again, staring Hakari straight in the eyes.

"But I don't care," he said. "If that's what it takes, hit me again."

Before anything else could happen, the girl standing beside Megumi called out, "Kin-chan, aren't you getting heated?"

Hakari scoffed. "...Come on down," he said, looking up at Megumi and the others. "We can make a deal."

We all sat down together on the concrete stairs in a circle. Megumi and Yuji started to explain to Hakari what was happening.  I looked over at Hakari and added, "Gojo has been sealed."

Hakari's eyes widened, "Seriously? Gojo-san is sealed?"

"Yes, seriously," Yuji, Megumi, and I all said at the same time.

Hakari leaned back, staring up at the sky. "Damn!!!"

Panda shifted and said, "Oh... and I'm sorry to make this seem like an afterthought, but Principal Yaga has died."

My heart dropped.

"What?!" I blurted out, almost standing up. "what...?"

"Panda-senpai?" Megumi asked.

"I'm sorry I was keeping quiet about it," Panda said quietly. "But it's true."

I stared at him, the shock slowly turned into sadness. Yaga wasn't just a principal, especially for Panda...
