Chapter 15: California.

Caitlyn's POV:

Hello California.

Once the plane had reached its destination after an ten hour, thirty minutes flight. You heard me correctly, eight hours. Within those ten long hours and thirty minutes, I kept to myself, listening to music, especially the song 'Lean On' by Major Lazer. I quite like the beat of the music. I also really love the new One Direction song, 'Drag Me Down.' Those vocals are amazing. I also ate dinner and a few snacks on the plane as they provided us with quite a lot of snacks in the first class area. I occasionally also looked out the window when it was bright and slept for a few hours. I reached at 1am, GMT time and 5pm at PTD time.

Once the plane had landed, I got up from my seat and walked, thanking the air hostess for her help. I then walked down the stairs and into the airport, walking towards the luggage claim to grab my bags. I found both of them, pulling each one out and dragging the suitcases with wheels along the tiles of the airport's floor. I decided to call for a taxi but was shocked when I saw a male with a name card in his hand. And the name written on it was mine.

Raising an eyebrow, I walked towards the male and smiled politely.
"Hi sir." I looked at him. He had on an outfit which a driver would have on.
"Hello, madam, are you Caitlin?" He smiled softly once I nodded. He took both of my bags even though I told him I was fine carrying them but he continued to insist, saying it was fine. I followed him out of the airport and towards a shiny black car waiting outside for me.
"Sir, would you happen to know where you're taking me?" He nodded his head almost instantly.

"CAE, that's where your destination is, right?" He asked. The American accent was clear in the tone of his voice and he seemed to be very polite.
"Yes, Sir. Thank you so much once again." I smiled and watched him open the boot of his black car, placing my suitcases inside. Once he closed the boot, he opened the passenger door for me.
"It's a pleasure, madam." He simply said.
I slid into the car, thanking him once again. When I was slipping on the seatbelt, he closed the door, walked over to the driver's seat and got in.

Once he had placed his seatbelt on, he drove towards the school. The journey hopefully wasn't as long as the flight, however, it was pretty long and made me feel a little nauseous since all I've been doing for almost an entire day was using transportation to reach my destination. Closing my eyes in order to calm myself down, a soft sigh escaped my lips as I played with my fingertips to calm my nerves down. But I couldn't help but think about what would happen if Dylan decided to find me. Why should he try anyway? I need him to be happy with the person he loves. I don't want him to be stuck with someone he doesn't love and I know for a fact that he has no love for me, unless that love is provided to him by the mate bond that we have present.

Feeling the car abruptly halt made me almost instantly flutter my eyelids open as I looked around quickly. I was about to question the driver as to why he stopped until I saw a beautiful, large building. With the letters written on the gates in cursive, I almost instantly knew where I was. LAE.

"Let's get this over and done with." I muttered to myself as I carefully slipped off my seatbelt.

Dylan's POV:

The next morning, I had woken up, my wolf was still under a lot of stress as his mate was gone but that didn't mean I wasn't either. Caitlin was my best friend, since we were young. We did everything together but ever since Lucy and I began to date, I started to spend more time with my girlfriend and I could visibly see Caitlin distancing herself from me. The fact that she was doing that confused me but it wasn't until now that I realised why she was doing it.

Quickly pushing the covers off my body, I got up and sighed. I was determined to find my precious little mate.

Walking into the kitchen, I saw Lucy, raising an eyebrow as I walked over to the girl I had once been in love with. "Lucy. I know you know where she went. I deserve to know. You and James know that I've been trying so hard to get my girl back. Please let me get her back. I need to find her. The pack needs its Luna and I need my mate."

Anyone and everyone could clearly see how frustrated I was. I hadn't felt like this before. I felt so incomplete without Caitlin. Once my father had found out about the real mate bond and the fact that Caitlin and I had reject each other, the use of the word 'furious' would be an understatement. He refused to pass the title of Alpha down to me unless I had won back my actual Luna and earned her trust back.

A sigh escaped Lucy's lips as she looked at me. "Look, this is all I can tell you. Caitlin can't find out that I've told you or she will kill me. I know she will."
Eagerly, I nodded my head as I wanted her to continue and finally reveal my mates location.
"I can't tell you where she is since that is a promise I will keep. But I can however, tell you that she's in America."
A growl escaped my lips as I cursed under my breath that her location wouldn't be revealed, but America will have to do with me.
"Thank you, Lucy."

I'm coming, my beautiful mate. And I will bring you back.
