Niall's hand continued to drag mine through the house as Aimee lead us towards the lounge. The music was still playing loudly as I could hear, but most of the guests had clearly gone home. Niall kept looking back towards me, maybe making sure to see that I was okay, or maybe just to look around the house out of pure curiosity. But either way, I gave him a smile everytime he turned around.
'Hey, Niall' I turned to look and the boys who Niall was talking to before were walking up to Niall. He let go of my hand and smiled at them. I just followed Aimee towards a small crowd of people who were sipping an alcohol smelling drink out of white plastic cups. Sabrina walked up to me and wrapped her arms around me.
'Oh my god Brianna, are you okay? You scared us all, believe it or not. What happened?'
I looked around the circle of people and saw them all waiting for my answer. I just smiled and shrugged.
'I don't know, I guess.' I looked over and saw Niall standing with his hands in his pockets, staring at me with his smug look on his face. I thought it was just me that saw him, but I heard a quiet laugh from behind me. I turned to look and a girl with long brown hair had a hand over her mouth.
'Looks like Niall likes you, Brianna.' I blushed a bright red just as Sabrina tapped the brunette girl on the arm with a frown on her face.
'Shut up, Merry.' She hissed. Merry stepped backwards and his herself behind the crowd. After a few moments of silence, Aimee spoke up.
'Let's play truth or dare, yeah?'

More of the guests left and the last ten of us sat in a small circle around an empty vodka bottle. One of the girls with long blonde hair grabbed the bottle and spun it round. I watched it with wide eyes until it eventually slowed down and stopped in front of me. My heart started hammering in my chest as everyone looked at me, Niall included. The bottle was spun again and this time everyone's gaze averted to Merry. She smiled at me and muttered three words.
'Truth or dare, Brianna?'
Everyone turned away from Merry and stared at me once again.
'I uhm..' I felt my cheeks blush a bright red and out of the corner of my eye I saw Niall look at me.
'Dare.' I spat. Both options could end up badly but I had to pick one. Merry had a look of excitement on her face as she looked towards Niall then at me again.
'I dare you to kiss Niall!'
'What?!' I gasped. Sabrina reached across the circle and hit Merry on the arm, hard.
'Ouch. Sabrina! That actually hurt!' She yelled.
'I think that's enough now.' Niall muttered, standing up. He walked out the lounge without another word. I quickly jumped up, and followed him out the door. I ended up outside on a deck that was held up by thick wooden planks that stood in a pool. The sky was dark except for a large misty moon in the corner of the sky. Niall smiled at me as I stepped on to the deck.
'Are you okay?' I muttered. Niall nodded before mumbling;
'Yeah. It just got a bit crowded in there I get claustrophobic. I guess.' He muttered. I stared at him before smiling at him.
'That's ridiculous. You work in a cafe with about twenty people. There were only about ten in there.'
Niall stuck his hands in his pockets before staring at me with his bight blue. He then smiled.
'Okay. I guess... Sabrina likes me, right? And what Merry said. Sabrina wasn't exactly happy about it and..' I walked over just as he sat on a wooden bench that was in front of the fence. The dark brown fence was around the deck, and underneath I could see a light blue pool. The deck rested on a wooden post that sat in the pool. I walked over and sat beside Niall.
'Niall, before Aimee came into her room you were telling me about..about you being arrested.' I muttered.
'Oh yeah.' He leaned forward before leaning back again and folding his arms. 'About that. Maybe it's just best that you don't know, Brianna. I mean..'
Suddenly the glass patio doors slid open quickly and Merry stood in the doorway with a smile on her face,
'Hey, Aimee's brother is coming home in about an hour and she needs to get this place cleaned up. We don't have to help but we do have to go home. I don't think Tyler would appreciate seeing snogging it up on the deck.' She teased. I felt my cheeks burn red with embarrassment but Niall just laughed and stepped up to the doors before turning around and smiling at me.
'Come on, Brianna. We'd best be going then'
there you go, ahah -carrie xo
