Anyway, this chapter isn't a story, its just to Clear Things Up. People have been wondering when exactly this story took place, ie, was it before Rogue got cured, was it after Jean became evil, and so on.

So, for those who had missed the First Clearing Things Up Chapter, or who had simply forgotten, this here's for you:

Like I said, this story is only losely based on the original X-Men movies. In Too Powerful?, the cure for mutants has not yet been found; thus, Rogue is still a mutant. Jean is alive and on the 'good side'; however, she has broken up with Scott, and is now dating Wolverine. That is the reason why Wolverine and Scott are not on the friendliest of terms, as Wolverine was the reason Jean and Scott broke up. However, the two are still good friends. Professor X is still alive and well, just like Magneto and Mystique, who is still in her shape-shifting blue form. Pyro, too, has not joined the dark side.

Most importantly, I would like to emphasize that Alex and Scott are not student-teacher, as had been stated by the Professor in the earlier chapters, when he said that he needed Scott to 'Be her friend. Understand her.' In the Institute, older students are generally responsible for the younger mutants, helping them and even taking care of them when the Professor is away. However, this is where Alex and Scott's relationship is special; not only was Scott placed directly in charge of Alex, he was only trusted by the Professor to help Alex out managing her abilities.

Also, for the reference of some of you who may have forgotten the powers of the X-Men I have featured in this story, here is a brief overview of the cast:

The X-Men:

Professor X- Psychic abilities, the ability to locate other mutants, to call out to them telepathically and move matter around using his mind, able to freeze time. Paralysed from the waist down, he moves around in his special wheelchair, although he rarely leaves his study.

Wolverine- Strong, fast healing, has an adamantium skeleton and 'claws' that extend from his knuckles when he needs them. Rough and sarcastic, although, surprisingly, he has an extremely soft spot for Alex. Dating Jean. He's mutation allows him to age very slowly, and, despite being more than 150 years old, has the appearance (and sadly, the temparement) of being only around 30 years old.

Scott (Cyclops)- He has to wear special goggles as his eyes shoot lasers uncontrollably without them. 25 years old. Has a massive crush on Alex, but is afraid to tell her, being convinced that he is too old for her.

Alexandria- Imitates/ learns other mutants powers, just by looking. Introduced into the story when she was 18 years old. Spoiled all her life, she was suddenly forced to grow up when she was sent to the School. Has a lot of resentment and anger for her father, who she believes abandoned her, and blames herself for the death of her mother. Is confused about her feelings for Scott.

Rogue- Upon direct contact with her fingers, she can suck up other mutants' powers, weakening, and usually killing them while doing so. Therefore, she has to wear gloves all the time. Alexandria's very close friend, 19 when the story started. Has a punk-ish look going on, although personality-wise, is a cheerful, albeit sometimes very mature teenager. Dating Bobby.

Kitty- Has the ability to pass through solid matter. One of the few teenage girls at the School.

Bobby- Ice powers. 20 years old, dating Rogue. Constantly having friendly matches with Pyro.

Pyro- Fire powers. Also around 20 years of age.

Banshee- A very old friend of the Professor. Has powerful vocal cords.

Storm- She can control the 4 elements- fire, wind, water, and earth, and has recently perfected the ability of controlling these elements indoors. Adult, close friends with Jean.

Jean- Has psychic powers, although not as powerful as the Professor's. Dating Wolverine.

The Brotherhood of Mutants:

Magneto- The head of the bad side. A human magnet, able to pull and shape all things metal easily.

Mystique- Magneto's number one sidekick. In 'original' form, Mystique is a female and blue in colour. However, she has the ability of taking the shape of anybody at all, along with their powers, making her extremely hard to catch.
