EMILY's P.O.V.

I was relived that Rain came to my rescue and covered for me when Harry kept following me wanting to get answers. When Rain came back she told me what she said and I was relived that she didn't tell him to much. So here I am hugging her as a silent thank you.

"So what did he say to you? What did you think of him? Did he mention me? Did he mention Rain? I need answers and I need them pronto!" Stephanie said rather quickly.

    So I held my wand out with both girls rather excited about what I had to write in the air with about my run in with Harry Potter.

    (I'm having her write with her wand on the air in case some of you didn't understand please just go with it)

It took forever to answer all their questions when you can't write very fast. So it took the rest of the train ride to Hogwarts for me to answer them all.

     When we did arrive I was quite thankful because I don't think I could write another letter without spraining my hand.

Rain and Steph explained to me that all I had to do was put my luggage and Screech in a stack on the platform and they would arrive in my dorm room before I got in there, besides that's what magic is for isn't it?

As I walked to the carriages with Rain and Steph I didn't see Harry walking to any of them but I didn't worry to much. When I got to the castle I was in awe.

     It was amazing I didn't show it so I wouldn't look like a freakish gold fish opening and closing my mouth instead I just looked around with a calm expression.

A professor then approached me," Hello my dear I am professor McGonagle I assume you are Emily Passwater, please follow me so you can be sorted into the appropriate house. There are four houses Griffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Might I remind you that none of the houses are better then the others and you respect everyone no matter what house you are placed in. Alright here we are now you will be sorted with the first years and can sit with your friends for the first day so you don't feel out of place. Now, GET IN LINE EVERYBODY NO DELAYS!" And then we entered the great hall all eyes on us as we went to the front waiting to be sorted.

UNKNOWN P.O.V.

This is the most boring part about the beginning of the year feast is the sorting. This year I looked up in time to see a girl about my age walking in with shiny brown hair that seemed to be dip-dyed royal blue, slightly tan skin, and hazel eyes. I decided to pay attention to this new girl maybe she would be put into my house. I watched as the first years went up one by one and finally she got called up to the stool.

"Passwater Emily please come forward." Called McGonagle.

So that was her name. The hat was placed on her head and I waited anxiously as the sorting hat was having that talk with her in her head. When finally the hat called out.......................

EMILY'S P.O.V.

Oh god. Was all I could think when this talking hat was placed on my head, all the hopeful eyes of my soon to be peers looking at me hoping that I get placed in their house.

So you are a Passwater hmmmm haven't had one of you to sort in ages. Your parents where good people. Well let's see you definitely have the brains of a Ravenclaw but that would not work out well no you have some personality of a cunning Sylitherin but you would not fit in there but hardworking and dedicated like a Hufflepuff but no that's not it heart of a Griffindor hmm you are very hard to place now aren't you. What house would you like to be in just think it and I will know that is we're you will be placed.'

Well Steph is in Ravenclaw but Rain is in Griffindor so i think I'll go with...............

UNKNOWN P.O.V.

............".GRIFFINDOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" The hat shouted. No she can't be in that house that's where my enemy is ggrrrrrr -_-.

     I scowled at my plate of food as she walked over to the table of her new house. I will still get to know her no matter what the cost there's just something different about her.

EMILY'S P.O.V.

Yeah! Now I can be with Rain. I thought as the whole red and gold table cheered. I smiled and sat down next to Rain and began eating when the food showed up. During the dinner I felt as if a pair of eyes were burning a hole in the back of my head but shook the feeling. And headed up to the common room with Rain.

     I found out that I would be rooming with Rain and two other girls that names were Ginny and Hermione. I went up to my new room and flopped down on my bed and fell asleep before anyone else came up, dreaming of what had happened on my first day so far.

Yea so now we know which house she's in. But wait who's this UNKNOW P.O.V.? If you already know please don't say. I didn't really know what to do with the sorting scene and I didn't want to copy anyone else's ideas so this is what happened.
