Chapter 12

EMILYS P.O.V.

     I wonder where this light is coming from it wasn't like this in the class room. Could someone of found me after all this time?! Or is this the light they speak of right before you die. Oh goodness I hope not. The light is to bright I don't want to open my eyes. I try to turn away from it and realize the pain has lessened by a lot but not all the way so I let out a small groan of discomfort. I then hear muffled voices but decide not to try and listen I just want to sleep...but no these voices won't stop so I decide to try and open my eyes now that I'm somewhat away from the light.

     As I flutter my eyes open I see the shadows of six faces. As my eyes adjust I see the facial features and see that they are Rain, Steph, Fred, George, Ron, and Hermione. Hmm I wonder where Harry is and why is Hermione here anyway we aren't really that close that goes for Ron as well but I don't really care.

     "Oh my gosh you finally woke up! I was so worried! I mean we all were but I know I was really worried! Don't you ever do that to us again ok if you do I don't know what I would do!" Rain says sense she is the first to speak. I nod my head smiling a bit and notice that Steph went to go get Madame Pomfrey and tell her I'm awake I guess.  Steph brought Pomfrey over and she shooed everyone outside then started talking to me.

     "Ok so I heard you where found in an abandoned class room." I nodded "can you tell me how you got there and in that condition to." I shrugged and thought about it. I had been in there for so long that I had forgotten how I got there. So I took a lot of my energy and wrote a couple words that might help.

       'I don't remember but they kicked me a lot in the face and stomach.' And then I laid my head back down on the pillow.

      "Oh my that must have been hard I'll see what I can do ok you just rest. Oh and please take that potion that's next to you it will reduce the pain." I nodded and drank the dark green potion the smelled like grass and I guess I fell asleep again cause next thing I know is I'm opening my eyes and see Rain next to me.  I move my arm and poke her face till she wakes up.

     "Hmmm oh your up that's great Madame Pomfry said you can leave once you woke up so ya."she said in a very tired voice.

      "Oh and you've been excused from your classes for the rest of the week it's Wednesday." I nodded and started to get out of my bed. As Rain got out of the way.

     "So I brought a change of cloths for you and I have plans right now sorry but maybe you can go find Steph or the twins." I smiled a little and nodded to say I was ok with it.

      "Thanks Em see Ya around." And she jogged out the door just like that. Well I guess it's just me myself and I now. I went to the changing room to see what she brought me for cloths and saw that she brought me some comfortable cloths to change into.

     I went into the girls bathroom they had in the infirmary to change. I took the white tank top to put that on then the black and white leggings with the designs on them. I pulled the grey hoodie with the baby pink lining on over my tank top then sank my foot into the warm baby pink UGG boots I got. I decided my eyes be a bright blue and my hair it's natural brown. I used concealer to cover the left over bruises and cuts on my face and cringed every time I pressed to hard in a bruise. I finally finished and walked out the bathroom and the infirmary with my head down.

     I walked down hallways and up stairs till I got to a hall that was by the Griffindor tower. I looked up in time to see harry pull away from the other girl from my dorm,Ginny, from what seemed to like a kiss. They smiled and started kissing again.

     I put a hand over my mouth and ran to the nearest bathroom I could find with the tears clouding my vision. I found a bathroom and ran inside a stall. I can't believe he would do this to me.

Am I not good enough for him?

     That's probably it I mean look at me and look at her. She's known him a lot longer than I did and she's a lot prettier to. More tears flowed down my cheeks like a rushing river that never calmed  down.

***WARNING SELF HARM UP AHEAD YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!***

     I finally put my hand in my pocket and reached for the secret spot I created in side it. I grasped the cool item in my hand and pulled it out to examine it. It's been forever hasn't it...sense I've used you.

What are you doing this isn't going to solve anything you know.

Ya I know but I need a stress reliever more than ever now so just leave me alone.

     And that is exactly what happened I didn't hear the voice for now. I rolled up my sleeve from my hoodie and inspected each scar there. Most fading but a couple fresh ones marked my skin.  I took the blade in my hand and pressed it against my skin. I slowly dragged it across my wrist as I let out a relived sigh.

      I watched as the blood started to peek out from the cut and slowly slide down my wrist onto the floor of the bathroom stall. I smiled at it. It was a beautiful red color and it comforted me. I placed the blade back on my skin for another cut and another and another and another. One for everything that has gone wrong.

One for my grandparents

One for Harry

One for Ginny

One for being beaten up

One for being useless

One for being pathetic

     I made more and more cuts until my wrist was covered in blood. I smiled at my work and stood up shaking a bit from the blood loss.

     I went to the sink and rinsed off the blood then dabbed at it with a paper towel. I went back to my stall and took some toilet paper and wrapped it around my wrist securely and then put a spell on it so it wouldn't fall off.  I then threw the bloody razor in the garbage and calmly walked out of the bathroom.

*** END OF SELF HARM SENCE***

    I walked to the common room and saw Harry sitting on the couch with a goofy smile on his face I walked up to him and stood there I front of him for a few seconds noticing that he didn't notice me I waved a hand in front of his face. He blinked then saw me and smiled a small totally fake smile.

     "Hey I heard you were found and got out of the infirmary. Sorry I didn't come and visit you professor Snape made me stay after class." Lies he sits on a throne of lies (if you've seen ELF you should get that X3 sorry this should be Sirius no not black normal people Sirius) I nodded and started to write words for him and watched his facial expression turn from fake smile to poker face.

      'Harry I know your lying I saw you kissing Ginny in the hallway don't give me this nonsense and I don't really care to hear why you did it I'm just telling you now that we're over.' And with that I walked out the common room and out to walk around the lake. I saw a rock close to the lake and sat down.

       I silently summoned my sketch book from my room but felt as if something was on it that shouldn't be but I continued to bring it towards me and when it finally arrived I noticed a small envelope taped on the front.
