"Daddy!" She called happily, but tiredly, as I walked in, the boys following.

"Hi sweetie," I spoke as I walked over, leaning down to kiss her cheek.

"Lay with me," she yawned.

I agreed and got in the bed with her, her cuddling close to my chest.

"Have I told you lately that I love you?" She asked me.

"Yes baby, you told me yesterday."

"I love you."

"I love you too, Autumn."

Danielle walked in and I heard Niall sigh at the sight of us. I glanced over at him and saw the tears he was holding back.

Then, I heard her heart monitor. It grew slower and slower and I knew what I had to do. I had to help her go peacefully, so I began speaking to her.

"Autumn, listen to daddy," I spoke as she looked up at me, "you aren't going to hurt anymore. You are going to be extraordinary and so full of life. You are going to play and spend time with Austin. You won't worry about anything, you just be yourself. Don't be afraid, baby doll. Go as you please."

"Do you still love me?" She asked.

I started sobbing, hard. "Yes baby, I will always love you."

"I love you, daddy," she said as she looked over at Niall and Danielle, who were crying. Liam and Louis were holding their tears back, which they shouldn't do. It's alright to cry.

"I love you mommy."

"Mommy loves you so much," Dani spoke as she came to kiss her forehead.

"I love you Uncle Ni," she spoke as he gripped her hand.

"I love you too sweetie," Niall said as he quickly came over and kissed her cheek.

"I love you Uncle Lou and Uncle Li. So much," she mumbled.

"I love you so much," Liam spoke as tears flowed down his cheeks, him kissing her head goodbye.

"I love you, sweetheart. Be extraordinary, just like your daddy said, okay?" Louis spoke softly as tears left his eyes. He kissed her cheek and stepped back, crying into Liam's shoulder.

"Daddy, will you and uncles sing me to sleep?" She asked weakly.

"Of course, baby."

I saw my parents and Gem outside, so I ushered them inside to say goodbye. Once they kissed her cheek and told her they loved her, a nurse allowed all of us to stay.

My parents and Gemma stood to my left, the boys at my right.

We began singing Fools Gold from our album and it came to my part. I sang through my tears and she gripped onto my hand. I pressed a final kiss to her head as I started to feel her go limp.

The monitor went flat and I felt Autumn take her last breath. I held her tighter to me than ever before and muttered "I love you" over and over.

"Harry," Louis spoke through his tears, "we have to go."

"No," I cried as him and Liam walked over while Niall consoled Danielle when in reality they were trying to console each other.

"Don't touch me! Autumn!" I screamed as I cried. Liam and Louis picked me up from the bed.

"Autumn!" I cried out louder as a nurse came in and covered the rest of her body with the blanket, picking up my shoes and socks and giving them to my mom.

"Autumn!" I screamed one last time before I passed out and fell from Liam and Louis's arms onto the ground.

I woke up at home in my bed. Danielle was by my side, asleep but I could still see tears stream down her cheeks.

I got up and walked down the hall to a room I knew too well.

Joy was laying on Autumn's bed, whimpering as I walked in without Autumn in my arms. I sniffled at the dog and walked to her bed, getting inside it as Joy came to lay at my side.

"I miss her too Joy," I spoke to the dog.

I knew that the lads and my family were downstairs because I heard the quietly talking. I don't want to be social right now, I want to mourn. I honesty want them to leave.

"Harry?" I heard Danielle speak in a small voice in the doorway.

I sat up to look at her and she looked like a hot mess. We both had tears streaming down our cheeks and her hair was a mess, I assume mine is the same way.

I held my arms open as she walked over and we somehow managed to fit the two of us and Joy in the bed.

I was the small spoon while we cuddled. We were a crying mess. "I never imagined her life being that way."

"No one did, love," Dani whispered.

"I had big dreams for her," I cried, "I wanted to watch her grow."

"We all did, baby. She's not hurting or in pain anymore. She's probably watching us right now, wishing she was cuddling with us."

I weakly smiled, "Yeah, I bet she is."

this chapter was really hard for me to write. i kept crying whenever i made autumn speak. im not going to lie, listening to the song and writing the part where autumn passed away made me bawl my eyes out. cry baby, i know. but there will be one more chapter and definitely an epilogue.
