"Hey Reg" i said; closing the locker

"Okay so you won't believe what i am about to tell you!!!" She screeched (literally) with
much more enthusiasm than necessary.

"What is it?" I asked, clearly uninterested.

"Okay so brace yourself for what i am about to-"

"Cut the shit.Whats going on?. You're gonna tell me or what?" I said cutting her off and huffing annoyingly.She rolled her eyes.

"Did you get out of the wrong side of bed this morning?.You are being a real grouch." I glared daggers at her and she cleared her throat; understanding that I wasn't in the mood for jokes.

"Yeah so i just wanted you to know that the hottest guy alive, Dylan Maxwell is joining your team!" She exclaimed excitedly

I stared at her like she just told me that WW3 has broken out.

"A-are y-you....i mean..h-how?...W-why?.The t-he basketball team?" I stuttered; hoping that i might have misheard her.But...

"Yess!.The Basketball Team!.Isn't it wonderful?"

I wanted to smash her face right then!.I mean what the hell?.Dylan was joining the team!.Whats the good thing about it? He will probably hook up with every single player and show his abs (which i may mention are insanely hot) and make every girl drool over him.

Every girl except for me.He has been hitting on me for the past month but i cant be one of his hook-ups so No Thanks!. He's rather annoying and frustrating.

"Wonderful?. You cannot be serious!?! We cant let the pervert in the team!.Why dont you get it?. It's basketball! Not his wide selection of whores!.I bet he knows shit about this game.He cannot be in the team!.Our team has worked so hard to be where we are today and I absolutely will not let him ruin that." I rambled furiously.

I can't believe Mr Conner actually selected him out of the other 2000 students.I can tell for sure he doesn't know shit about Basketball.But why did Mr Conner choose him then? Unless....

"I guess Mr Conner chose him because Dylan must have agreed on less money.I dont know but this is something totally Mr Conner-ery.If that even makes sense" Regina said biting her lip and looking deep in thought.

"No, that makes total sense.Mr Conner must have been looking for someone who agrees on less money and Dylan must have agreed because he would have thought about 'all the hot chicks'."

"Hmm."
"Thats so uncool" i said disappointedly.

My bitchy school has the bitchiest rule to 'pay the player whom the coach has made to join any team regarding to sports on such a short notice'.
A week ago, we were all informed about how we need another player in our team so that our match against Granite Bay High school (which is in three days) could be even as they had an additional player in their team.

As a result, we also needed a new player but i didn't think Mr Conner would go that low and be all greedy when it came to money.I dont even know! He was so enthusiastic about this match and he was always forcing us to practice during all our free time.

Money can change people, after all.

I have always had a passion for basketball and this upcoming match against Granite Bay High school? I was so zestful about it!. I was literally the only one pushing my whole team's lazy ass to play.Now all i am feeling is uncertainty and disappointment.
