Sloane was mentally running through all the work he had missed when he was lost in his own mind. There were several projects he left unfinished and some he could no longer delay. He had to prepare everything in concise notes for Seth to read through and also move around some meetings because of the upcoming family conferences involving the selection on the next head of the family.

So when Sloane entered his shared office with Seth, he was surprised to see someone sat across from the Chairman.

It was Alvin. The last time they spoke was at the Halloween party, in the painting room. He was asking if him and his dominant, Daniel, could join Sloane for the evening.

Sloane knew this man was hard working. He had such delicate features, he didn't know if he could have such a pretty boy near Seth.

It is impossible to have a set of categories for the types of people working for Seth. But Sloane always used Ren and Cameron to distinguish the different types of submissive.

Those that were like Ren always avoided others and those like Cameron who encouraged others to approach him. Alvin was part of the latter, although one would not know this if they didn't know him personally. He had an innocent look and doll pretty eyes. But he was the type to never be content training under one dominant, he would change every few months.

And someone like that was never satisfied.

Did he really think that he would now have a chance with the Chairman? Sloane laughed at the thought. Sloane knew his position in Seth's heart was unwavering.

"Right so Sloane will pass on any tasks during the transition." Seth closed, he reached for a set of files in his drawer. "Here are the projects we are working on now, you should be familiar with a few of them already."

"Transition?" Sloane repeated his eyes narrowed onto Alvin. Right, he recalled Alvin's resume came up when he was preparing a list of temporary secretaries to take over his role when he left. But Sloane was not leaving, he was here to stay. So what exactly is this about. He walked towards where Seth was and sat on his dominant's lap, facing Alvin. Can't he possible see, this territory had been claimed already? "Is Daniel aware you are here?" Sloane said slowly, tapping his left hand on the sheets of paper in front of him, showing his ring. In case this was missed.

"Yes, of course he said, it is honourable to assist the Chairman, and that I should be able to assist in any way as told." Alvin smiled cheerfully.

"As told?!" Sloane repeated. He leaned forward and laughed at the suggestion of it all. A deeply malicious smile on his lips, followed by anger. Sloane realised he had to remind Alvin clearly what he was trying to get inbetween. With eyes pinned on Alvin, he leaned back against Seth's chest. Sloane slowly began unbuttoning his shirt and tracing marks that Seth left from last night. Multiple purple and red like a set of fireworks on his skin.
He wanted to show all his hickies. His body sore and swollen, Seth as a lover was gentle but passionate. "Last night was quite tiring, it was a miracle even coming into the office today. But I suppose I'm just fortunate to have such a healthy dominant as my lover. The Chairman is a very demanding man. Even if you are willing, are you capable?"

He had not even been wearing his ring for more than twenty-four hours and someone already wanted to take his man.

"Kitten." Seth said as a whisper. "This is an interview. We should follow the questions as per protocol."

Sloane, grabbed Seth's face, leaning in for a kiss, biting his lip as they part. It was a punishment for interrupting him. The secretary was partially rough, partially territorial. "You don't mind me if I stay here? And ask the questions myself?"

There was a strange glimmer in Alvin's eyes, and Sloane did not look away, because in doing so, he would be admitting defeat. Sloane brought Seth's hands to explore his body as he flipped through the page.
"Right first question. Tell us about yourself."

"I'm a very obedient submissive. I listen and enjoy pleasing my dominant-" Alvin started.

"Career related." Sloane interrupted. "Please refrain from talking about anything else."

"Right, of course." Alvin laughed nervously. "I've been working at the company for over four years now. I oversee the accounts, and assist Daniel, the finance director. But I have applied for this temporary role in the hopes of assisting you."

"This is very interesting and all." Sloane started, he rolled his hips feeling Seth harden beneath him. "But we have some urgent matters to attend to." He leaned towards Seth, kissing him. Venting his anger as he kissed roughly, seeming to catch Seth by surprise. Sloane glanced back at Alvin. The secretary had expected him to leave but he was still sat down. "Why are you still here? Are you going to join us?" Sloane bit back.

Alvin's eyes lit up at the question. "Can I really join you both? I mean when I was asked to help you Sloane, I wasn't sure but after seeing you interact with others over the past few months, I was wondering if you would consider taking a submissive. In fact, I think you would make a really good dominant."

Sloane got up surprised, he had toyed with this man to get him to leave but he actually wanted to join? And even worse he wanted him to be a dominant. Sloane covered himself with his own shirt and looked at Alvin. "What?! Are you not applying for the secretary role?"

This was when Seth finally interrupted. "He is applying for the assistant to the secretary role."

"Oh, sorry. I thought." Sloane's cheeks were bright red. He turned to face Seth who looked like he was finding this whole situation amusing.
He knew this whole time. "But I'm the Chairman's submissive. I have no experience being a dominant. So thank you for your offer, but I don't think it would be a good match."

"I'm sorry, if I made things awkward." Alvin said nervously. "But I still really want this role. Mr Chairman said it would be temporary until the next few months but there are also a lot of benefits financial and career wise. So I hope you decide with me. And for the offer on taking a temporary submissive for the end of year party. I hope I can change your mind by then."

"Our contract is closed." Sloane said definitely. "But since there is a lot of work to do, you can start tomorrow. Leave us for now."

Alvin nodded and took his leave.

Sloane glared at Seth who had kept quiet this whole time as if in deep thought, "How can you let me embarrass myself like that?"

"I was going to let you off because you were complaining about your aching body. But why stop, continue what you were doing earlier, it was incredibly attractive." Seth bit Sloane's lip, mimicking his eagerness from earlier. The Chairman's hand lowering down Sloane's body.

Sloane slapped his hand away. "We have work to do first. Isn't the first family meeting happening in a few days?" Sloane raised his eyebrows.

"To see you so actively protective over me, why would I want to stop that when I can enjoy and watch." Seth added.

"If you keep this up, maybe it should be I who punishes you." Sloane smiled.

"Speaking of punishments." Seth revealed a chastity belt from the box in his top drawer. He tugged at the necklace he wore. There was a key attached to it. "Put it on. Like you promised kitten."
