Sloane entered the gates of the castle, at the entrance was a garden of red roses, sweet and in full bloom. It was almost tempting to be cursed in exchange for a stem of beauty. At the centre was an extravagant golden fountain with four statues of angels, wings stretched out in beautiful carved marble. Their eyes peering down on the guests entering, watchful as if to warn you to never give in too deeply into your desires. The air was crisp and there was an enchanting hue in the air, as if a fairy tale was beginning to unfold.

But before Sloane could reach past the fountain, a bag was thrown over his head.
"Seth." He cried out. His body was being pulled in the opposite direction from Seth, he could feel their fingers graze against each other before slipping away, his voice being muffled by the bag. Yet he could hear Seth shouting his name. Urgent and sharp like a warning bell. But it was no use, Sloane was thrown over someone's shoulder and carried away.

Suddenly, it was seven years ago, the written note, his first love, meet me. The Café, the anticipation, the sinking feeling he ignored, the wrong person, the wrong choice. The blackmail. Watching Samuel build his empire from bodies piling over each other. Running away, Cedric, the hospital bills. Debt and dancing. False freedom. A mistake. And it was happening all over again. A vicious cycle. Fear was a void that devoured onto his every thought with greed. Eating away the small happiness he had accumulated over the last few months. Had he been found? Had Samuel sent his people? How did they get here? And Seth, was he safe. Had the company been compromised? Did Leo know about this year's location? Sloane tried to kick and scream to free himself. Could he really be taken away without a fight?

Sloane heard the door click behind him. His mind was wild with thoughts and his throat was closing up, was this the end?

But it couldn't be, he was yet to live a fulfilled life with Seth. It was a painful realisation that there would never be enough time. He didn't tell him he loved him enough. He wanted to be with Seth right now, to know if he was safe. If he got hurt, Sloane imagined his life should end there with him.

And then the bag was taken off.

Sloane blinked. His arms were clasped together with handcuffs, but he was relieved to find his ring was still on his finger. Seth will find him. But to his surprise, he was surrounded with familiar faces. A few women from the night shift and a few other subs from the day shift who were already dressed up. They all surrounded him with concern.

"Surprise!" They murmured awkwardly.

"It was supposed to be a surprise." Ren began untying Sloane. Everyone was dressed for the ball. In large beautiful gowns, pastels with blush pink, sage and sky blues. Gowns and suits that were pulled from star light and decorated by the rising sun.

They were in a dressing room, they were going to prepare him for his dance number. With everything happening he had lost track of all his responsibilities. Hot tears were streaming down Sloane's face. He was safe. And so Seth had to be too.

"I told you this was a bad idea!" Ren pushed Cameron to the side and handed Sloane a tissue.

"Sorry Sloane. This idea sounded good in my head. Kidnapping was part of the bachelor party protocol." Cameron said sheepishly. "Will be noted, for next time."

"There was no next time." Sloane said without hesitation, his cheeks red at the thought, he rubbed his wrist, he was certain there would be no other. "I will marry once."

"Of course." Ren smiled, he knew that look, that feeling. "This is also your bachelor party, so what kind of dance would you want to perform for the Chairman."

Sloane smiled, suddenly finding his outburst so silly. It was impossible for Samuel to reach him. Not when Seth was protecting him. He should focus on the bachelor party, and everything he planned for Seth's entertainment. There was something he hadn't tried in a while. "Can you prepare a few more things for me."

Seth's POV

"You dare scare him." Seth threw a large fur coat over his shoulders, he wore delicately a sown shirt with embroideries of moons and stars and a navy silk suit. His crown was filled with diamonds shaped into constellations.

"As per tradition, he is whisked a way and will be dressed to your liking." Angel bowed. "Your majesty, shall we? The festivities will begin soon." He gestured towards the large golden doors leading to the ball room.

Several chandeliers glistened from intricate celling paintings filled with glorious and beautiful gods. A long red carpet stretched out from the entrance to the end of the large hall. The marble reflecting the paintings above like a lake capturing the sunset in the horizon. There was a golden glow like it was all a dream. In the background there was an orchestra playing and it was like stepping into another world. Every one was waiting in their seats, dressed up in gowns and suits with props that echoed a novel from a fantasy fairy tale.

Seth sat beside the other Kings as the Host he was in the middle. Gabriel, who was the King of the East, sat to his left and Harlan who was the King of the West to his right. Angel stood behind him as his personal advisor.

The music paused and the lights switched off. Suddenly, a spotlight shone from above. Someone descended down on a large hoop like a star falling effortlessly down from the heavens. The music restarted, a grand symphony echoed like a set of bells clear in the night. Seth knew from the way the dancer twirled and swayed like a floating flower over the pond under a full moon, it was the beginning of something he had seen many times before.

Sloane wore white laced lingerie, a single white garter covered by a sheer white flowy skirt. And around his neck was a diamond collar, Seth had gifted him. He was a star in true form. He arched and the hoop swung in a circular motion around the ballroom, soon building momentum until he was few meters away from Seth. Sloane smiled and looked into his eyes. For a moment, Seth's heart soared, like he was in the presence of an angel.

Seth had feared he had put Sloane against dancing again but watching him glide across the ballroom, he knew it was a passion that could never escape his heart.

There was a way Sloane moved when he danced, each moment was a fleeting sensation until the next. And even though no words were exchanged, Seth knew what Sloane was saying with this dance.

'Watch me. Adore me. Worship me.'

And Seth had done all since the first day they met.
