"What is he doing here, Ari?" Olivia asked, entering the room in her free period and seeing Jared there.

"They found that I am here so I am under supervision until your dad and Alpha Michael decide my fate."

"Your fate?" She asked, her eyes widening and panic filling them.

"Well, they have every right to kick me out of the territory, lock me up for a specific amount of time or punish me as they see fit." She shrugged as she cleaned up her desk since she had resigned in the morning.

"No! No they can't do that! I won't let them do that." Olivia said panicking completely.

Ariel put her stuff down and went to the girl. She kneeled in front of her and grabbed her face.

"Look at me."

Olivia looked in her eyes.

"I will be fine. I knew this could happen when you told me this was pack territory. But I chose to stay, alright. I will be fine. They won't do any permanent damage because I didn't do anything more than trespassing. Those are the rules. There's nothing they can do that'll be worse than what I've been through. I chose to stay, Olive."

"You stayed because of me, Ari. I don't want you hurt. You stayed because I asked you to."

Ariel kissed her forehead. "But I still could have left. I chose to stay, honey."

"No. I won't let you get hurt. Zane needs you. I need you." Olivia shook her head and pulled away from Ariel.

Ariel watched as she walked to Jared who had been staring wide eyed at them. He hadn't known Olivia knew about Ariel. Michael hadn't told them.

"Give me your phone, Uncle Jared. I need to talk to dad, he's blocking me."

He slipped out his phone and handed it to her. She dialed her father's number and waited for him to pick up.

"What is it?" Bryce snapped at who he assumed was Jared.

"Dad, I need to talk to you."

"What's wrong and why do you have Jared's phone?"

"I want to talk about Alpha Ariel."

"Who told you about her?"

"Listen to me, dad. She's my teacher and I have known about her for a while. She has been helping me with things. She didn't know this was pack territory and when she found out, I asked her to stay. If you hurt her because of it, I'll never talk to you again!"

"What was she helping you with? What do you mean you knew? Why didn't you tell me? You are in trouble, young lady!"

"She was helping me get over mom's death when you were too busy ignoring me!" Olivia snapped at her father, her voice shaking. "She was helping me make you stop ignoring me. She stayed because of me, dad. And you can ground me or whatever but if you hurt her, I'll never talk to you again. She was the one who told me that you didn't mean to ignore me and that you will loved me. If it weren't for her, I'd still hate you."

"What do you mean hate me?" Bryce's heart broke at just the thought of it.

Olivia's tone softened. "I thought you didn't love me anymore. And that you were ignoring me on purpose. So I hated you. Then Ari told me that you didn't mean to and she proved it to me. Please don't punish her for it."

Bryce closed his eyes and sat back. "Wouldn't dream of it." He whispered to her. "And I love you, Olivia. Don't you ever forget it or doubt it again. I'm sorry, sweetheart, I am so sorry for making you hate me..." His voice shook as he tried to show his emotions to his little girl.
